Miss Saigon is open and fabulous!!! Such wonderful interaction with Chef Richard. Food was outrageous He made very special dishes for each of us and it was a friends birthday, he even has the most amazing voice he sang and did a surprise dessert. We’re definitely coming back soon.

As a first time client all I can say is OMG!!! This was the best meal I’ve had in years!!! By far the best noodles anywhere in the city. The Rick Bowl is second to none! The service was impeccable! The chef and owner came to the table, took our order, made the food, brought it out but most importantly made us feel like family. He works everyday for dinner as he is a firefighter by day. Come by and see Rick.

We went here for the Phở and it did not disappoint. We got chicken and raw beef phở and it was delicious. The portion was just perfect. I wasn’t able to finish it but that’s because I also ordered a house salad. I gave it 3 stars because the service was ok. The staff was not very friendly and I wasn’t sure who was my waiter. Also, upon coming in and being seated the manager was yelling at an employee loudly and where everyone can see. Very unprofessional. Maybe it was just an off day for the restaurant. Overall, the food is great and I would recommend this place to anyone.

What a great place!!! Thank you #11 for your incredible hospitality and your kindness. The food was fabulous. I have never eaten any Vietnamese cuisine that is comparable to yours. Hands down… You have made a new customer and a new friend. I am here to stay and I will recommend your place to flocks of people!

First off, it is a nice place, good atmosphere, bad cuisine. Was going to hold on posting anything negative however, I got sick on dirty lettuce. Yup, ordered the Green papaya Salad, good not the best but good and took a bite out of the lettuce and viola! not clean!!! Wow, my surprise with dirt on the lettuce and, they took the salad off my tab when they should’ve given us a free dinner. I was sick for a day with the runs over the incident\! Never again, I’ve had better food at dives. Too bad though as I had hopes. Goes to show you looks don’t amount to much, always check your food. No wonder the lighting is so bad inside! Lesson learned and shared. Thanks!

I came for an early dinner today(about 20 minutes after they opened). It was my first time trying Vietnamese food. We had the shrimp shumai as an appetizer, entrees were the Rice Platter(amazing!) and the raw beef phở. Dessert was a cup of coffee with Thai donuts. Service was excellent and all the food came out very quickly. We were there for a little less than an hour. It started getting very busy as we were leaving.

When we decided on Miss Saigon Bistro for our Ladies Night dinner, my friends and I knew we were in for some tasty food, it’s impossible to have bad Vietnamese food, and great conversation, but we were surprised at how amazing everything turned out. Hali served our table of 10 and she was awesome. I wanted her to sit down at the table with us and hang out, she was so cool. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out what to order and with 10 different pallets people like different things but she made it effortless. She suggested to let her do the ordering and I’m so glad we trusted her. She brought us out drinks she thought we would like, and she was right. There was this crazy delicious lychee/plum wine cocktail she makes that you have to ask her about! She started out by bringing us a couple of orders of Rik’s Special. It’s this cold noodle dish that’s tossed with dressing and fried shrimp rolls. It was so delicious and fresh. It was tossed right at the table. She also brought out five different main dishes for the table. We ended up all sharing the Chicken Pad Thai, the pork and vegetables, the crispy mi and vegetables, the beef with lemon grass, and shrimp with vegetables. She also brought out a bunch of jasmine and brown rice. Everything was great! We enjoyed all the dishes immensely. After dinner she brought out dessert, which was fried dough with chocolate sauce and condensed milk. You can’t go wrong with that! I loved the idea of putting it in her hands, so to speak. Hali and basically all the wait staff there was really accommodating to our big party. She made it easy for us to all split the check and never rushed us out even though we were the last table to leave. Miss Saigon Bistro is my new go to place when I’m craving Vietnamese food or Asian food in general. The atmosphere was super warm and friendly and I love feeling like I’m a part of their family. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back ASAP!

Slow/inconsistent service. I think my waiter was new though. The food was mediocre –we ate it but not worth the price. The Phở especially was disappointing. We’ve actually been here before about a year ago, and I remember the food and service being much better. They renovated the inside, but I’m not a fan. There’s like 8 TVs on the wall with the same whiny music looping(plus, Portuguese subtitles??). It was distracting at best. Waiter didn’t ask if we wanted drinks just came around and stood awkwardly at our table then disappeared for long periods. Fortunately the other waiters started to realize it and thy stepped in. My chopsticks were dirty(like sticky, I don’t inspect my silverware) so I asked for clean ones(politely) and he came back with disposable chopsticks. Felt kinda rude. I might give this place *one more* chance, but there are many other great restaurants in the area.

I’m giving this place a 5 star even though we had the bad luck to eat here on a short staffed day. Besides the waiting time, the food was pretty amazing. The noodle soups are very delicious and the atmosphere is cozy with the dim lights.

This was my first time eating at the Pinecrest location, though I’ve been to the Miss Saigon Bistro in Coral Gables numerous times. I had the Miss Saigon rice noodle bowl which I thought was excellent. Great freshness in the ingredients and the dish tasted light but flavorful. The different components and textures of the dish were well-balanced. I thought it was an excellent dish both before and after I added the spicy sauce, though I did enjoy it a bit more after adding the sauce.

The last time I ever went to a Vietnamese Place before tonight was in San Francisco, with Darren’s Café. In Darren’s, I had the greatest Vegetable Phở Soup I have ever tasted in my entire life. It had the freshest ingredients and the juice was made out of the Chef’s Tears. Tonight, as a birthday boy, I wanted to see if Miss Saigon Bistro can give that Vietnamese Flavor I longed for since coming back to So-Flo. Long Story Short, it has succeeded! I tried the Phở Dac Biet and it really does taste fresh. Basil, String Beans, and accompanying sauces made the experience an amazing one. We also had Steamed Pork Dumplings for an appetizer, and they came with two extra sauces. Those dumplings were scrumptious! For my entrée, I had originally ordered a Claypot for Caramel Shrimp. The Head Chef(amazing guy btw) told me that it wasn’t worth getting a Claypot because it was too salty and didn’t include as much sauce as the original plate. So instead he got me into ordering a normal Shrimp Caramel dish with Broccoli. The dish was huge, and the sauce was watery. The dish itself was still a little too salty, and the shrimp, albeit being huge, didn’t taste as good as I thought. The broccoli and the onions were however, great. Before my party even announced that it was my birthday, the Head Chef gave us Thai Donuts on the house. Thai Donuts are one of my favorite desserts in the world, and Miss Saigon turns it up to Eleven. The Head Chef is an amazing person, heading out to different tables, asking about the food, and giving his personal stories behind every dish. An awesome man indeed. I had fun picking this place and«going in blind» on my birthday night since the restaurant I originally planned to go to in the same plaza was closed on a Monday(won’t mention any names), but next time I stop by this plaza, I think I’d rather come back in here instead.

This place is so great! It’s a lovely atmosphere and one of the chefs, Rik, came out and took our order and helped is make a better choice! He then said that next time, to ask for him and he’ll «take our vegetarian tastes to a whole new level». He was great. My friend and I both had vegetable pad Thai and it’s the best I’ve ever had hands down. From the moment we entered we were greeted with warmth and care! He even gave us complimentary carrot cheese cake which was delicious. Rik is awesome. This place rules. All the stars.

I was so excited to finally find a delicious Vietnamese restaurant in Miami. My boyfriend and I were invited on a double date to finally go check it out on a Friday night and we showed up around 8:40pm. The moment we walked in they told us they were closed when we looked online before hand it stated that their KITCHEN closed at 10pm. I give it one star because they were incredibly rude, they whispered to each other when we asked them about the time they had online and they just said«no we close when we say». That was so rude, so thanks to them we discovered Brooklyn pizza next door and it was DELICIOUS, mostly because the service was outstanding. Ps: you can always tell a place is sketchy when they purposely peel off the hours of close outside their business. How sad, I won’t even try to go back when they are open.

Great place to have Vietnamese food. I went to the gables location once and had the phở. Pretty good! Last evening I had the pleasure of going to the Kendall location for a birthday celebration. I got their signature dish that was highly recommended by the waiter, which is the Saigon bun. It’s a rice noodle dish with loads of veggies, chicken, shrimp and topped with crispy egg rolls. Very delicious and light, although I was expecting a warm dish and it’s actually served cold. That was a bit of a let down. The service was phenomenal. The waiter was very personable and made it a special evening for our birthday girl. We got a complimentary round of beers for our table of 10 and also complimentary dessert without even asking. No only did he bring a slice of cake with a candle, we he gave us two orders of Thai donuts to accommodate our large party. The desserts were my a favorite part of the meal and highly recommended. The chocolate cake was like nothing I have had before. Overall, great food and even better service. I will be back.
