History

Established in 2007.

Dr. Pedro M. Abrantes started the Florida Lower Extremity Foot & Ankle Center in Miami with a keen interest in helping patients have a better quality of life in Podiatry to keep patients in as much of a pain free, functional lower extremity that involves 26 bones and 33 joints in each foot & ankle. Some of our best treatment options that have alleviated many lower extremity conditions of the foot and ankle involve PRP, Stem Cells, Laser as well as orthotics. We do thorough biomechanical exams as well that help runners and many patients determine many complications that cause pain or functional inabilities that hinder patients daily activities such as work, running, walking or just standing alone. We do also treat trauma from fractures to sprains. The office now located in the Pinecrest area strives to take urgent foot care appointments on the same day. Our mission is to keep our patients and their feet on the path of life!
