Jax Burgers Fries & Shakes

Great little eatery! HUGE burgers, good fries, and jalapeño Ketchup on every table! Clean restrooms, friendly service. Definitely give it a try!

Have eaten here several times and the burgers are always very good.

It’s good but nothing out of this world, I just don’t see paying $ 15 for only a burger, fries and soda, maybe if it was blow me out the water good, but it was only mediocre.

I call in the order, sit in 249 traffic for a bit. 10 minutes later the goodness is awaiting my arrival!

I’m a big customer I call and just give them my name an they know my order an have it ready. I also go there so much that I’m really good with the manager. Great guy works really had to make jaxs great. But unfortunately the girls he has hired just don’t care. Every time I call in now my order is always work they give me the full works when I just ask for pickles and mayo. They also forget to give me my drink about every time. Then when I knock on the window or honk to get my drink that they forgot. They think it’s funny to give me a drink that has all different kinds of sodas in the same cup Pepsi, Dr. pepper, big red is all I taste in one cup. These girls see me at least 3 or 4 times a week. An they still get my order wrong. I talked to the Manger about it but these girls don’t take ppl orders seriously. If it was their meal they would be mad but since it’s someone else they don’t care. I’m sad to say my favorite burger place will no longer be getting money from me. I’m being forced to go to five guys burgers an frys. Nor am I going to tell family, friends and coe workers how good they are because now it would be a lie. The service is horrible unless your being served by the manager that’s the only way you will get your order right. For now on I will be sharing with everyone about what’s really going on there. Good bye Jaxs I’m going to miss the once good service and wonderful food.

Tried to go today about six pm. Hopefully they were just closed for the holiday. Love their chicken sandwich and their fries!

Best burger in Tomball, Woodlands, Magnolia, etc. absolutely large, fresh, very well done. Fries are crispy, their grilled chicken sandwiches are excellent, thick shakes, service is equally outstanding!
And yes, I said Woodlands, I’ve eaten every burger in that town too when I lived there until a couple of months ago :-)

The burgers here are awesome! They are freshly made and not greasy. It’s clean with a nice group of friendly people. I usually don’t take the time to review hamburger places but I find this one to be exceptional

Absolutely! The burgers are fantastic. Great taste, good size, fantastic options for everyone. I had the bacon burger with blue cheese and it was mouth watering. On top of the crisp bacon, salty and delicious beef, well made buns you have the fries! There are tons of fries to choose from and I went with the buffalo sauce fries. Great flavor, decent portion size and cooked very well (well fried I guess).
The place on 249 just outside Tomball is clean and the staff was very friendly. The food came out reasonably fast and was made to order. It’s a bit hard to see this location since it is in a high traffic 4 way that keeps your attention on the road, but make sure to stop in and have a go.
It wasn’t all perfect but there was nothing bad or regretful about my visit. I left full, satisfied, and with a great meal in my belly. It’s a tad pricey. For a burger, fries, small drink I paid $ 13ish, which is a bit high for a casual dining place. I wish I had gotten the shake at first, but I was so full after my meal I was glad I didn’t. I will come back to try those. The wing sauce for the fries could also be hotter. It was on the weak side for wing sauce. I didn’t even have to dab any sweat off my forehead!
Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again or recommend it to friends and Unilocalers alike. A bit pricey, but the food almost makes it perfect!

Great burgers and fries. Gotta give em 4 out of 5 because the prices are high. 15.00 for a burger, fries and a shake? Shakes are real ice cream but my advice is to thin them down a bit as the straw is too small and you will have eaten your food before its melts enough to drink.

Really great environment and the baca burger was on point. The Cajun fries are my favorite. My advice Is to skip the drink and get the shakes.
