Dr. Michael Manning was first in practice at The Eye Associates of Manatee in Bradenton, Sarasota, Ellenton, and Sun City Center, Florida for several years as a top cataract and LASIK surgeon before assuming the leadership role of Pinellas Eye Care. Here he has since merged this with another practice Gulfcoast Eye Care located in Palm Harbor, Florida.

Dr. Manning is an innovator in ophthalmology as one of the first doctors in Florida to offer laser cataract surgery. He is the first ophthalmologist in Florida to offer the LipiView and LipiFlow technologies created by TearScience that are used for the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye disease. Dr. Manning’s specialty is vision correction surgery using techniques including LASIK, cataract surgery, refractive lens exchange (also called clear lens exchange), and phakic intraocular lens implants (sometimes called implantable contact lens or ICL surgery).
