Lane Bryant Stores

Popped in on the Cacique side, looking for something soft and sexy as a gift for my lovely wife. While I did spot a few nice things, the prices were a lot on the high side. I’ve signed up for their email specials so perhaps a good coupon will appear and I’ll buy a bunch of great stuff!
Sales help was unobtrusive and friendly.

This location at Carolina Place Mall is HUGE. They have the regular clothing store and in addition have taken over the space next door for a Cacique lingerie section. As they are running their buy 2 get 2 bra sale, I thought that the Carolina Place location would have a greater selection of styles and sizes than just a regular store. I was correct! Boulder holders for days in a variety of colors and sizes (and drawers to match). Hooray!
In addition to bras and panties, they also have a wide selection of sleeping attire and attire to be worn in the bedroom, but to be taken off (if ya know what I am sayin’…). As the only thing that sleeps in my bed on the reg is my cat, there is no need to spend bucks on sheer things with sparkles and bows. But they did have a lovely selection of all things to be worn under things and all things to be worn in the bedroom.
The staff was incredibly helpful. I arrived after work and there seemed to be a steady stream of customers coming in and out. I have lost about 40 pounds and needed to be measured to have some idea of what sizes I needed to be looking for, a helpful young lady did that and then helped me pick out a few of the style that I typically wear. For you healthy girls out there with bodacious tatas, you know how important a good fitting bra is! I tried on, and blah-​ed them all, handed the cast offs to an employee and then went back to look for more sizes and more styles. After a few visits in and out of the fitting room I found 4 that I liked (actually, I found more, but I only needed 4, so I stuck with the plan). It is so nice to have a store that has such a wide variety of styles, colors and sizes. If they do not have the size that you are looking for, you can order and have it shipped to the store for free.
The only complaint I have, and it is a very small one, is the enthusiastic yelling from the employees. They were all tremendously nice and helpful, but almost too much so. The chatty like I am a BFF and joking, yelling isn’t everyone’s cup of tea (especially after a full day at work being yelled at). But, when searching through drawer after drawer and rack after rack for your size, it is nice to have a helpful crew, but a little lower key would have kept me in the store longer.
Overall though, the store has a vast selection and you cannot beat $ 18 for a bra that needs to be as structurally sound as I require. They were also running a 50% off of clearance sale, and I found a cute skirt too for only $ 15. Lane Bryant has come a long way in terms of styles for the pleasantly plump, and this is a great store.
