Love this place! Relaxing and the breakfast is fantastic ! The only down side is the bathroom in the cottage this is my second time here and the jacuzzi is never clean …

As other reviews will confirm, it is a great experience to stay here. My wife and I visit whenever we can. While we usually stay in a cabin, the other accommodations are absolutely fabulous. Jenn and Kathy treat you like family. All cabins, rooms, suites are spotless and very comfortable. The atmosphere provided is top notch. In the colder months wood is available to make a fire– just great. And of course on top of everything else, no one cooks and puts out a breakfast spread like Jenn and Kathy. They will cook just about anything for you in addition to fruit, cakes, pies, pastries, you name it. For those Mayberry fans out there, hate to say it, they have Aunt Bea beat.

If you want quality service at a B&B and have a southern home feel with wonderful staff… This is the place! I reserved the southwest honeymoon cabin to surprise my wife for our honeymoon. This placed delivered and went beyond after that. First off Jennifer the owner contacted me via email to confirm reservation was made. She corresponds via email and or phone if you need to and will promptly respond to any request to make your stay the best it can be before you ever arrive. For example I had a letter to my wife typed out. I requested of Jennifer if she would accept it via email print it off and place it on the bed prior to our arrival. She followed through exceptionally by placing it in an envelope and addressing it to «My dear wife.» It’s this attention to detail and acceptance to do this for a customer that showed me the due and diligent effort she is willing to go to keep her customers happy. There is no value on this kind of service because it’s priceless and hard to find. The location is exceptional, 6 nights here and we still couldn’t fulfill all the activities we wanted to due that didn’t take us no more then a 20 mile radius from the Inn! Breakfast is great here every morning, and will allow you to take your BFast to the room so you «the husband and or significant other» can cater a breakfast in bed for your significant other. Mrs. Cathy who cooks the breakfast and sees to your request of linens and room cleaning is a sweet, fun and active lady who will cut up and joke with you and always leave you smiling and laughing if you come across her while she’s busy bustling around. Jennifer with her bubbly personality will make you think you have known her forever… Don’t believe this woman has ever met a stranger in her life. If you want a great experience with your first time at a B&B I strongly recommend this place. Yes you can hear the highway, but that is trumped by the excellence in service this family owned establishment will deliver. I thank them dearly for a multitude of memories for my wife and I. This will be a repeat business establishment on a regular basis by me and my wife!

We’re do you start. We stayed in cabin 2 for three nights I don’t wànt to leave… Had breakfast every morning made by Kathy with fresh fruit and breakfast plates eggs and bacon, toast. We have seen deer everyday plus at the pond went fishing and saw a snapping turtle stroll right by me. The cabins are rustic and peaceful, however you can hear some highway noise. Great place to kick back and relax. They do have WiFi. Also they have Direct TV but never turned it on didn’t even have withdrawal symptoms. This is the place to come with the one you love. Can’t wait to come back.

Place is amazing! Although it’s been raining all morning, we’re still enjoying the rocking chairs on the porch at Cabin #2. Whatever you do while you’re here, don’t skip out on the breakfast. It was simple and great. For a random middle of the week getaway, we chose the right place. Don’t miss out on something fun and romantic!

Holy cow — I can’t believe only one person has Unilocaled this place before me! Let me say that the other reviewer, Samantha, was totally on target.
The cabins are PERFECT for a couple!!! The grounds are lovely and you need to make some day trips to the local Mayberry places — the Pilot Mountain for sure since you are right next door — the town of Pilot Mountain which has some good places to eat and some cute shops — and, last but not least, Mount Airy which was the home of Andy Griffith.
My suggestion is to make your reservation in advance as during many months it is fully booked. Bring some wine — for sure! I suggest you stay at least two nights so you can fully enjoy the surroundings. Lastly, enjoy your stay, it’s like going back in time!

I LOVE this place! We first went about 5 years ago and went back in November. It was exactly 5 years later. The cabins and rooms are just so cozy and beautiful! Everyone is very nice and for a bed and breakfast I didn’t feel pressured to get out and do something for the day. I wanted to do nothing! At breakfast hubby got a basket and brought it back to the room. It was simple and yummy. I tell my family and friends about this B&B all the time.
