To me, first impressions are everything. Although it was my first time ever visiting an ENT, I was kinda anxious because I didn’t know what to expect. Every person I had encountered in that office was so nice and sweet, which really put me at ease. The audiologist who performed my hearing test was very professional, but a little less personable as the other people working there. Maybe it was just my passive personality talking. At the very end of my appointment as I was talking to Dr. Ross, he concluded with «I’m here for you,» which is something no other doctor has ever said to me before. It truly showed the compassion he has for his job and his patients.

Just left his office … Will never go back. Basically told me nothing was wrong and may be my ear will get better ??? It’s been 2 months and after a ear infection still not feeling 100% and did not bother to check my sinuses … Never again …

I went to Dr. Joel Ross when I was looking for an ear specialist because I had Bells Palsy that started with an ear infection. I liked how he was very attentive and ran a lot of tests to make sure everything had an explanation. everytime I went to see him he made me feel comfortable and that he cared about my condition. Great doctor. Very knowledgeable.

I am highly impressed with and thankful for the office of Dr. Ross.
From the front reception to the young ladies in the back to the man himself, they are all professional, courteous and knowledgeable and give off the vibe that they actually care about you and not just your money.

This Quote on Quote Specialist absolutely receives no stars from me, but it seems the requirement is I have to put at least 1 star up and that isn’t for him, it goes to his beautiful assistant Kristine. I had a sinus issue, and he ended up setting me up for a Sinus CT scan. He told me that I had mucus build up in my ethmoids, and that I would need sinusplasty done which I was fine with. I had to wait for clearance through my insurance. I waited weeks and weeks, until I received a letter in the mail from my insurance clearing my Sinus Plasty surgery for approval, but Dr. Ross added in the report that I had a deviated septum which was not read to me with the results of my CT scan. In the insurance claim, he couldn’t even let my insurance agency know the detail of the deviated septum because the fact is «I never had one «. He tried to get over on me, so that I’d fork over more money. I ended up finding out through a great ENT physician in Oakland that I indeed did not have a deviated septum, and mines was perfectly fine. His old ass needs to hang it up, and retire because he falsifies diagnoses. Never again will he see me again. Thank God for 2^nd opinions.

Dr. Ross is the best ENT doctor! Very knowledgeable, he takes the time to review your whole history, very accurate in his diagnosing, Dr. Ross is up to date with the latest techniques and medicine. Staff is excellent and very professional. I hardly wait when I Visit his office, I would recommend him to anyone seeking sinus surgery, allergies, or any other ENT issue.

Wow — i can breathe again. Thank you Dr. Ross for being a professional and knowledgeable doctor. Dr. Ross always takes extra care to listen to my concerns and address my problems. He doesn’t try to «up-​sale» me with products and services I don’t need.
His staff is professional and kind. I appreciate that his office doesn’t have any turn-​over which means a continuity of care.

Dr. Joel Ross is an excellent ENT physician. He is extremely knowledgeable and very caring about his patients. His patients love him. He has some that have been seeing him for over 15 years! I have operated with him and he is an excellent surgeon.
