I been going to Tammys for a minute now, and I must say they are a Okay shop, they rush me a lot because I come in on Saturday when it’s really busy, but they should tell people who call in that it is busy. sometimes the male workers or kinda rude and get a little too comfortable how they talk and touch you. but they do nails really nice and the prices are low, which keeps me coming back. You have to make sure they are doing your nails the right way.

Ken! Awesome at acrylics and shaping on point. Exactly what I wanted. He was able to save my nails from another place by just a fill.

Rude and rush you. They didn’t really ask what shape or length I wanted just did whatever. Good if you’re on a lunch break. Go somewhere else if you’re particular about your nails.

I came here today for the first time because my usual nail shop was closed. I made an appointment for 1:30pm and arrived a few minutes early. When I came in, I noticed it was very busy and many people were waiting. After picking my color, I waited about 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I didn’t really mind because I wasn’t in a rush but there were still many others that were waiting. When Tim started doing my nails, I noticed that he was kinda rushing and I was worried my nails would turn out bad. He also filed my nails really aggressively and thinner than they needed to be. However, the shape and color turned how I wanted them. Tim was also really friendly and asked me constantly if I liked how my nails were. What bothered me was that he was working on several other customers at the same time as me. like he would stop in the middle of putting my acrylic on to file another girls nails. When I got up to wash my hands and came back, he was gone. I was waiting for a good 10 minutes before another woman randomly came and finally started painting my nails. Even she left for a while to work on another customer lmao I’m happy with how my nails turned out, but I don’t think I’ll be returning here. The service is just really inconsistent and I’d rather just go to Julie’s where they take their time and don’t get interrupted every 5 minutes. I would suggest coming here only if you have an appointment scheduled and if you don’t mind waiting an extra few mins

Girls stay away! The people that work in there are so rude! My nails look like crap and charged me so much. The guy Tim is extremely rude and smelled like fish because he took breaks to eat! I had an appt at 6:45 and had to sit for 30⁄40 min and was stuck in there till 9:15pm!!! So not happy with them!

Tammy’s nail is good because is close to my work don’t have to drive far. I like it here cause they have sea salt+ wax for your pedicure can’t say NO to that. My nails only get gel because don’t like my cuticles cut. The only bad thing that I dislike that they use the drill to remove most of the gel and your nail becomes thin. But overall is okay.

The very first time I came here. I hated my nails they we’re done by this lady(forgot her name. I know that doesn’t help)! but the second time I came here, they did an amazing job! Very clean place. I had my gel manicure done as well as a gel pedicure. They both have last me more then a month. I’ll be coming back if I’m in the area again for sure. Just have to find the right person here. Also schedule an appointment as they can get busy in afternoon & evenings.

The manager there was very very rude to me. I will give them 1 star. Just because the guy that did my pedi did a good job. Accept for the fact that he made my toe bleed. I think the managers name is Tim or something like that. He has no customer service at all what so ever. He was also rude to some other ladys that were there @ the time, they also said they will not be returning. That was there first time there. That’s very bad for bussiness.:(

I love tammy’s! It’s always nice to be greeted with a «hi honey, how you?» Haha. Every time I come here my nails are always perfect and how I like them. I usually go to Tina for my acrylics. The prices here are very reasonable. ~$ 25 for a full set and ~$ 13 for a fill(not gel). They have a very wide variety of colors to choose from and their place is big and roomy. They’re usually very busy so it’s best to make an appointment to avoid a long wait.

This shop is not the fanciest but they are consistently good. I only go to Tim for my nails, but I’ve have pedicures done by everyone there and I have no complaints. Prices are very reasonable, and they are always busy so it’s best to call ahead or make an appointment.

My friend told me about this place yesterday so I went and checked it out for the first time today. I was told they are always super busy and to make an appointment, but I was surprised as soon as I walked in without an appointment, I was able to get right in a pedi chair. Being that I heard they are always super crowded, I was expecting to wait for 10 or 15 mintues or so! It was a nice atmosphere, grown customers that were not in there being super loud and ratchet like most nail shops. Every customer that was in there was calm and relaxed just trying to get their nails and feet done. The lady who did my feet, her name was Rosie, she was super nice and SOOO gentle with my feet! Between the relaxing atmosphere, the soft music playing in the shop, and her being super gentle with my feet, I almost fell asleep right there in the chair LOL! Tina is the lady who did my nails. I got gel for the first time, which came out beautiful to me and so very soft. Most times when you go to nail shops, when they are quick, your nails come out not ok. Tina was QUICK, but she did an excellent job! I was super happy with my nails because every time I go to a shop I tell them my nails have to be short because I type so much at work & at school. Every other shop I went to, my nails still seemed to be too long, but Tina made them short just like I like them! Everyone was super nice when I left and said bye, they all said«bye see you next time!!! Thanks for coming! Tell your friend we said hello!!» The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars because they are a little on the high side as far as price, but to be honest you get what you pay for. You want nice, you’ll pay nice. You want cheap looking, you’ll pay cheap. This is my new go to place!!!

Terrible service very rude!

This is my usual nail spot, I come about once every 3 weeks to get a gel manicure on acrylic nails. I always make my appointment with Tim and he’s really funny and always does my nails the way I want it. Occasionally I also get a gel pedicure. This is the only place I go for those because it’s affordable($ 35 for gel pedicure and sea salt+hot wax) whereas other places in the area will charge up to $ 50 for the same service! Outrageous! They’ve upped their gel color game within the past 3 months. lots of better and higher quality gel polishes to choose from. I recommend always making an appointment, they do take walk ins but you might be waiting for a hot minute. Weekends are always packed so my favorite times to go are early on weekday mornings.

I’m not even from the area but since I was around and needed my nails done before my birthday I stopped by with a friend and I’m definitely glad that I did! I love my nails and the shape was perfect. I didn’t even have to tell them to fix anything. On top of that they had nice gel colors since that’s all I get. If it wasn’t so far I would go here all the time but it is worth the drive! Wish I caught the ladies name that did my nails :/

I called in the afternoon and made an appointment for a mani/pedi for 6pm that night. I definitely recommend making an appointment if you can — this way they took me before the others who walked in that evening. It was a Friday night, and they were busy. I was a little surprised, since it’s not located in a particularly busy shopping area, although Trader Joe’s is across the street. I got a lavender color for my manicure, and a more deeper purple for my pedicure. They were fast and efficient, and then when I asked — at closing time — if they did eyebrows too, a woman showed me into a room in the back and quickly waxed and tweezed my brows into shape. I had a wedding the next day, which necessitated the Friday appointment. Next time, however, I’ll try to stop in during the week, when it’s not so busy.

It can get really crowded here so making an appointment would be the safest way to go since no one likes waiting around all day. I appreciate how they treat me as an equal customer here. Unlike other nail shops in the past where once they found out I was Vietnamese, they would have me wait around and take other customers first and tell me in Vietnamese to wait, even though I got there first. My favorites here is Tim and Mimi. I always request for them. And since they already know me, we always just pick up from where we left off. But everyone pretty much here is good. I’m really picky with how my nails are done considering my mom used to own a nail shop herself so I know how things are suppose to be. So even if something isn’t the way I like, they’re really good at listening and fixing it instead of just doing what they want like other nail shops. I get 5 star treatment every time I come so 5 starts on Unilocal is what they get.

I had my first gel manicure a few weeks ago. I loved the color but it chipped the following day. I just trimmed the offending chip and my nails looked good as new. It lasted me over three weeks. I went back for a gel French manicure. Vincent did an awesome job! It has been over a week, no chipping. I’ve even received a few compliments :)
