The man that came out and gave me an estimate was very nice. He is the owner. He was early and polite. I was happy with the price I was quoted so I scheduled the work to be completed one and a half weeks in advance. I took a day off of work. I was given a day but no time when I could expect a crew to meet me at my home. I called this morning just to confirm and I was told that someone would be out this afternoon. I called at called around 3pm to just kind of, you know, …“WTF?” And the receptionist told me she was going to call the crew. I never heard back and it’s now 5pm so unless they work around the clock, I’d say that Field’s Gutter & Siding will not be coming over today. I feel foolish and angry because I sat here all day waiting and I was not given any kind of status update or expectation about what was going on. In the meantime, I’ll just keep checking out the window and waiting for the phone to ring. Someone did call me the next morning and said they would be out to install my gutters. Luckily I didn’t have plans or anything. The men that came out did a good job and really appeared to know what they were doing. They mailed me an invoice that was less than what they’d quoted me but no explanation for the price difference was supplied. I would say that you’re okay doing business with this company but you should be assertive in calling and confirming when your repairs will take place. I wish I could give a more positive review but I wasted an entire day sitting on my ass.
