Ray came out when he said he would, and re-​keyed 2 locks that would use the same key. This was for a change of tenants, and I was pleased with his work. He was polite and pleasant, and reasonably priced. I will use him again for properties that I manage on behalf of my clients.

Ray is an outstanding locksmith — helpful, fast and responsive. When my tenants locked themselves out of my Pittsburg house, Ray was there in less than 30 minutes. He quickly got them back in and recommended some minor repairs, but did not press to do them himself on the spot.
Since I was hiring him by phone from Oregon, we had to work out a means of payment. (Locksmithing is, normally, a strictly cash business.) He was willing to work with me on that.

I work at a local real estate office that handles foreclosed properties and we’ve used Ray for over 2 years. He is excellent, prompt, great pricing and available the same day. He shows up early to appointments to ensure it’s safe for us to enter, I find this very re-​assuring being a woman. He’s very punctual, he’s good at what he does and we’re never surprised by the invoice. I couldn’t imagine using anyone other that Ray’s Lock & Key.

I was given a quote over the phone and it sound reasonable so a guy shows up 20 min. later and said you didn’t till me you didn’t have the keys. (why would I need a lock smith if I do?) That will cost you a little more. (never said how much more). After he got the door open we ask to rekeying 3 lock and he said to change them to the same keys, so I don’t have too many keys. He remover all the locks and than tells me one off the lock can’t be keyed and I need to buy a new lock from him.(did till me price till the end). He was fast in picking the lock that was for the 2 stars I’m giving but it took him amost an hr to rekey the 3 lots! After his all done he hand written me an recipe and added the total up it was 2x the quote over the phone. I should had went with only companiest that had reviews on Unilocal!!!
