This coffee shop is absolutely adorable. I drive by every morning and today I finally stopped because traffic was light. The young lady managing was absolutely adorable. She was super sweet and very peppy and had a great recommendations for me! I purchased one of the flavored lattes I believe it was cinnamon and brown sugar or maple brown sugar. It’s very good! The prices were a little high on the coffee I got but probably worth three shots of espresso that are in it!

Pricey if purchasing for a group or meeting.. two krafts of coffee (16 cups) 1 dozen bagel and two small containers of orange juice… $ 66.00. The coffee is good no doubt but was very shocked at the price. I expected mid 40s. I am lucky to have an understanding boss.

I love coffee from Bean Thru, and I’m a pretty picky person (Starbucks coffee doesn’t usually cut it).
They always have numerous flavorings even though I’m a pretty routine plain coffee, coffee w/​expression, or macchiato person.
Good selection of snacks, too! I’ve had their bagels a few times– really get your money’s worth there, but be careful. They’ll slather the cream cheese or PB on there if you don’t ask otherwise. Not a bad thing except when you’re trying to watch your figure

I stopped here on Saturday morning and the attendant came out of the building to take our order, because the van in front of us had an extensive order. She smiled and made helpful suggestions about the menu. The coffee here is amazing, and the food is excellent, too. I ordered a bagel that was perfectly toasted, fresh and delicious. They also sell oatmeal that is steel cut oats.
Our coffee order came with an espresso bean on the lid, very thoughtful! Quick service, convenient, and a high quality product.

Adorable little place. I’ve rode by many times then heard great things from my friend and decided to stop by.
Bobby and I both ordered a mocha chiller. A regular one was very large and under $ 4.
Prices are very reasonable. Good coffee and love the espresso bean on top.
Employee asked us if we had a punch card. After saying it was our first visit she explained the company and told us about another location in Shaler (punch card is good there too)
Support local business. This place is literally adorable.

Love this place. I just started working in the Bellevue area and this place has been my Starbucks replacement. The coffee is delicious! The girls working are always friendly even when it’s pouring down rain outside. The chillers are amazing! Try one!

Quick, solid coffee. Excellent breakfast burritos. I wish they had a place to sit inside for when it’s cold out (there are picnic tables) because this would become my go-​to coffee place in that case.

Great people work here. Always efficient and kind. I’m a picky coffee drinker and I love their coffee. So happy to have this in my back yard. Makes early work mornings much better.

I’m pretty particular about my coffee and coffee drinks. This place does things right. Always friendly and delicious. They will customize your order any way you want it and always with a smile. I especially like the chai coolers on a hot day. So much better than anything the big chains put out. The coffee is as good as Coffee Tree and the coffee drinks are even better. The chocolate covered coffee bean with every order is literally the icing on the, well, coffee.
I have but one complaint. I don’t live in Avalon, Bellevue, or Brighton Heights so I don’t get to stop as often as I’d like. If only there was another location in the south hills.

Love the BeanThru. The staff is so friendly and if there is a long line of cars-​they even come outside to take your order and get it started. I usually go for the peppermint mocha or the oreo mint drinks. Their whipped cream is also top notch-​it has such a great flavor to it. I have never been disappointed when trying something new here. Also, they offer biscotti and other treats as well. Red velvet biscotti to be exact-​so tasty! I know it may not look like much while driving by on Route 65-​but make sure that you pull over and give BeanThru a try-​you will be just as addicted to it as I am!

I am currently obsessed with this place. Its location is absolutely perfect: right before you get into the city on 65. The service is prompt, efficient, and the baristas are super friendly. They brew with La Prima coffee/​espresso beans so you know it’s going to be good. There are also lots of options for added flavors. The owners are amazing, and the employees seem to love it. It is also just so freaking cute. It is so hard to drive by and not stop. Highly recommended to all commuters to the city!

Like a taxi driver with tips. — I have not been back to this place in a while even though it is on my way in to work. Reason is the couple of times I stopped, a guy served me. The coffee was fine, but when he went to give me back my change he did that thing that yellow cab drivers in Pittsburgh do: he held it and looked at me instead of counting it back into my hand. That hold-​your-​change as ransom and pretend it’s an innocent thing when he is actually stalling for a large tip I am a good tipper, but when you do that to me I become a bad tipper and not a return customer. I guess I could just call him on it, I do taxi drivers. I think I expected more from a quaint little cabin that was serving me coffee. Not sure I’ll go back.
Update. Joy the owner reached out to me personally. She didn’t think it was possible that this had happened but I’m sure that it had. She was kind and offered free coffee which I did NOT accept. I’ve gone back twice now and nobody treated my change badly or acted weird about a tip. I hope that Joy speaks to all of her servers at training time about this and that it does not reoccur at that nice little coffee stop. I will be going back again now that I’ve brought this up and I think it helped.

What a little gem this place is. I’m usually a Dunken donuts coffee fan and since moving to Pittsburgh I haven’t found a coffee shop I just fell in love with. I stopped here on a whim and ordered a hazelnut coffee and it was wonderful. Went back 3 days in a row. Friendly fast service too and I like the breakfast burritos. My favorite part is getting 1 chocolate covered espresso bean when you order your coffee…

I absolutely love BeanThru. Starbucks has nothing on this drive thru coffee joint. By far the friendliest baristas in the Burgh. The service is quick, the coffee is fantastic, and the chocolate covered bean with every cup of coffee makes my day.

Awesome! I’ve only had their drip coffee. They definitely use quality beans, are quick, super friendly (which is always nice, but certainly a plus if you haven’t had your morning fix) and always appreciative of even a $ 0.75 tip (the balance from a $ 2.25 large). All of his combined with the fact that they are a local buisness makes spending money on coffee vs. making it at home worth it.

First time checking this place out. I drive by this place every week when I’m in Bellevue, and I’ve wanted to stop quite a few times but today was the day!
The wait was short for 2 cars ahead of us, and the girls were super nice.
We ordered an iced mocha with and extra shot and an iced amaretto latte with an extra shot. They were made quickly and we’re mixed very well.
The mocha was just creamy/​chocolatey/​sweet enough with the extra shot. For my taste, without the extra shot would have probably been too much.
My husband really enjoyed his latte. The espresso blend is bright while also being smooth and complex.
Great little place!

As intimated by the name, the BeanThru is a drive-​thru coffee joint; no sitting and pilfering free WiFi for hours here ;)
I wish I went there more frequently. Coffee is tasty, and the prices are excellent. There’s a huge menu with lots of gussied up coffees to choose from. This usually makes me suspicious, since the easiest way to disguise bland, yucky coffee is to add a bunch of crap to it. However, the barista knew his stuff, and I loved my café au lait!

This place gives me a reason to get out of bed in the morning.
No, but really. I bribe myself to get to work or school early just so I can stop and grab a coffee and a bagel before I sit in 65 traffic. (Morning commuters, I know you can relate to this.)
Their coffee is amazing, and I love getting the chocolate covered espresso bean with every cup, but their lattes are extraordinary. I’m addicted to their Almond Joy Iced Latte. Their bagels are fresh and toasted to perfection every time.
Best of all, I love the staff. It makes it worth the few extra minutes in line to get my coffee made with care, the right way, the first time, all with a smile on their faces. There is no better way to start my day.
I bring anybody who comes to visit me, and recommend to any fancy drink lover.
