Disney on Ice: Frozen

This was Sooooo Beautifully Magical and yes the merchandise is over-​priced but Still a once in a lifetime experience… Worth every penny to see My Baby-​doll (My Great Granddaughter) sing, laugh and Smile… Shes only 2−½ yrs old and the singing and characters were actually kept her attention for the whole show… .And Yay finally found her Elsa gloves…
They really did a good job on the costumes, will definitely bring her next time they’re in town… My Best Valentines Ever !!!

If the kids could Unilocal they would be saying «THIS SHOW IS AWESOME!» Took both my 6 and 3 year old to see this show and they LOVED it! I’ve gotta admit I liked it too! The characters were on point when it came to acting and ice skating. They even did tricks! We had seats that were pretty far but the kids didn’t mind at all. My daughter loved this show so much that when it ended she began to cry! Cute show to take the kids!

We took our 2 year old daughter to Frozen on Ice today at Oracle Arena. We had a great time, and thought the skating was amazing! Elsa was really great, and the storyline was just like the movie. The only downside is pricing of the tickets,$ 75 per person on lower level plus $ 40 parking. Glad we didn’t buy any merchandise because the toys etc were overpriced!

Took my girlfriend last night to see this show at oracle arena in Oakland. It was great. I’ve never been or even thought I’d ever go to a show like this, especially frozen, but I enjoyed myself. The skaters were great and the overall performance was very enjoyable. As the show went on, the volume got louder because the children were getting restless, but that’s as expected. I’m glad I went, and I know my girlfriend loved it.

The ice skaters fell at least 3x, were not always in sync, obviously mouthing the story and not on point. I guess i expected more from Disney… The costumes were gorgeous, the story was played out perfectly and the kids were excited. The merchandising was obnoxious. $ 30 for a plastic, flashing wand. $ 15 for a snowcone in a plastic cup, $ 20 for a program…

We took our girls to the Phoenix show last weekend. They absolutely loved it. My complaint is that everything is soooooo expemsive. There was 5 of us so we had already paid nearly $ 400 for the tickets alone. Once we got there we just couldn’t see spending another $ 100+ just so the girl could have ONE toy each. A bottle of water for $ 6.50?! They need to be more realistic with their pricing. They don’t seem to realize they will make more money by lowering their prices. If more people can afford it, more people will buy it. We would have gladly spent $ 12 for 5 bottles of water, which would still have been a good profit for them. But instead we only bought 1 $ 6 bottle of water and we all rationed and shared it.
Please consider your customers and not your profits when pricing your souvenirs and concessions!

I thought this show was awesome, great performances, very entertained, beautiful costumes, impressive! Maybe more cool ice skating tricks would of made it 5 stars, but I am still very ! Kids loved it, nothing better then seeing them smile!

The show was a good run down of frozen. Its a shame all the crappy merch. They sell these wands with blinking and flashing lights at ever entrance. And boy its it annoying when you have one of these in your eyes all night.
Its a real shame. Maybe someday they will get some class. Really takes away from the show and whole experience.

Meh. Just meh.
It wasn’t as grand as I thought it was be. For all the insane money that this movie made, I thought the set would be so much more grand. I thought the staging was scarce.
The skaters were phenomenal. The skater that played Elsa was a great skater. The skater that played Anna acted really well. The ensemble did a fantastic job. The fake snow was cool. Olaf’s daydream about summer was the best skate number!
I’ve been to quite a few Disney shows. I thought that Nemo and Monsters Inc were much better ice shows so that’s the gold standard that I held this show to and it didn’t not meet that bar.
All said, this is an experience that a younger viewer would enjoy, say around 5 – 6 years old. My kids are 9 and 13. The 9 year old liked it. The 13 yo thought it was OK. My husband agreed that it wasn’t Disney’s best performance on ice.
Favorite moment: I loved listening to the little voices in the audience sing along with the songs. The were loud and proud and adorable!

Debut Opening Weekend for the new Disney on Ice spectacle «Frozen», great show, great skating, great props, and great costumes. This show will and is going to be one of Disney’s most popular disney on ice shows ever, guranteed, due to the whole «Frozen» bonanza that taking place across the US and throughout the World. The show was a detailed-​shortened version of the movie, with a few cameo’s by Mickey & Friends. Elsa & Anna sing their hearts out just like the movie.
