After 18 years with a cracked, sinking driveway full of huge holes and a stone wall along the driveway slowly bowing out thanks to freeze and thaw cycles, we FINALLY decided to bite the bullet — and hit the bank — to redo the driveway.
Three other contractors told us it would take at LEAST ten days — if not longer — to put down a new driveway (1800 square feet) and the only solution they provided for the wall was to remove the existing stones (1′ x 2′ rough blocks) and replace them with interlocking concrete stone.
Joe Palmieri told us he could demolish the old driveway, tear down the wall, pour a new driveway and rebuild the wall (with proper drainage) in TWO DAYS!
I didn’t believe him. And you know what? He was WRONG. He completed the job in a DAY AND A HALF!!!
He brought an experienced, organized team and he personally supervised the entire job. The guys worked like a well-​oiled machine.
The results are breathtaking. Quality concrete, great work on the wall, and follow-​through on ALL of our questions and concerns.
Was he the least expensive option? Nope, but it was well worth the extra 10% we paid to have the work done in an instant and done well.
