Saul M.
Business Owner
Saul Markowitz began his career working in the public relations department for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. A few years later, he moved down the street to the Benedum Center for Performing Arts where he became the manager of public relations and promotions. From there, he took on the role of director of public relations at Carnegie Mellon University’s College of fine Arts, and then he headed into the wild as director of marketing and public relations at The Pittsburgh Zoo. In 1997, he decided to open his very own agency. Markowitz Communications opened its doors on April 1, 1997. After 17 years, Bonnie and Saul Markowitz and their staff have established a reputation as the small firm that takes on large, high profile accounts.
