History

Established in 1966.

Perman Funeral Home and Cremations Services, Inc. started in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania by Frank Perman in 1966. Mr. Perman was the successor of the Paris Funeral Home. In 1985, Mr. Perman purchased the current location from the Carlos Funeral Home in Shaler Township. Perman Funeral Home is one of a few Pittsburgh area Funeral Homes specifically built and designed as a Funeral Home.

Mr. Perman’s son, Frank, now owns and operates the Funeral Home.

Business Owner

Frank Perman is the owner and Supervisor of the Perman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. He is responsible for the operations of the Funeral Home.

Frank is a lifelong Pittsburgh resident. He graduated from Central Catholic High School. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Dayton. He is a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Frank had a variety of careers before Funeral Service including Computer Technician, Emergency Medical Technician and Disc Jockey.

Frank is involved in the community as a member of the Kiwanis Club of Glenshaw, twice Past President; Charter member and Governor of Highland Moose Lodge 2699; Bauerstown Baseball and Softball Association, Coach; Allegheny Rugby Union Referees Society, certified referee; Pittsburgh Harlequins Rugby Club, Alumnus and former player.

He is Committee Chairman of Boy Scout Troop 157 in Glenshaw PA.

He is married to Heather and they have four children.
