The Circuit Center & Ballroom

I had my children’s baptism reception here in August 2015. We had about 250 people.
The planning process went smoothly, they were very accommodating and flexible and the coordinator Amy was very nice. However, when it came down to the event, the service was HORRIBLE. Unfortunately, they left a coordinator named Valerie there that I have never dealt with. She was very snobby and had a really mean attitude. We couldn’t ask her a single question without being worried she was going to hiss at us. Most of the wait staff was very rude to us (the hosts), the guests, and even the band!
From the get go, it was very important for us to find a venue that was flexible and accommodating with time and that is one of the main reasons we chose the circuit center. My husband had an agreement with the venue coordinator and the onsite coordinator on the day of the baptism that if the party was still going strong at 10PM, that we will extend the time till 11PM. Around 9:50 the staff started to pull all the linen off the table! Around 10:04PM, while the guests were still dancing in the middle of a song, Valerie (the on site coordinator) walked over to the dance floor and yanks the cord out of the device the music was playing and disconnects the music!!! I had no clue what was happening as I was saying goodbye to some guests. Then I go over to her and she claims she told the DJ to stop the music at 10 and because he didn’t listen she felt she had every right to do that!!! I told her I am going to tell Lee, the owner of the Circuit Center catering company, what she did. Her response is that, she has known Lee for twenty years and Lee won’t care.
After the party I called to complain and the original lady I dealt with Amy called me back and she apologized. I had requested to speak with the owner Lee. She said he would call me back and until now he has still not called me back! I guess she is right, he can care less about what happened! He got his money :-)
So if you care about the experience of your special day and want good/​kind service, this is definitely NOT the place to go with. It is very sad because the venue is beautiful and the food was good. But that means nothing if the staff is going to ruin your day and treat you like they are doing you a favor!

I went to a friend’s wedding here. The place is lovely with an outdoor area which is perfect for a cocktail hour. It’s a great place to have a wedding, and the catering was good too.
