History
Established in 1975.
In the early 70’s Louis Cocilova established his remodeling company out of Greece NY, properly named Greece Remodeling. The company flourished for many year under Louis’ oversight. Eventually Louis decided it was time to retire to Florida and he decided to sell the company to a young business man. Unfortunately this young man ran the company into the ground and tainted the family name. Hearing about this, Louis returned to Rochester and sought the help of his daughter (Missie Montgomery) and son in law (Jim Montgomery). Louis gave Jim, who had over 25 years of experience in the remodeling industry, full control of the company and its clientele.
For the first few years, the husband and wife team played clean up fixing the issues created by the previous owner. Jim also had to change the name due to legal issues and because we cover four points of the county, Four Points Remodeling stuck.
Today Jim and Missie run the company out of their new Bushnells Basin location.
Meet the Business Owner
Jim Sr M.
Business Owner
Jim Montgomery Sr, moved to Rochester in the early 80’s from Syracuse NY. He soon started working for Louis Cocilova, owner of Greece Remodeling, fabricating counter, installing cabinets, and overseeing kitchen and bathroom installation. Jim later left the company after marrying Louis’ daughter, Missie to peruse his own business, Montgomery’s Contracting and Remodeling. Jim’s business did very well but as he got older he sought a more managerial position. Jim was hired by a construction company as a project manager overseeing multiple crews and selling jobs.
When the call came from Louis to take over the family business, Jim came running. Jim has owned and operated Four Points for more than 10 years now and is known by his peers as having the most knowledge in the remodel industry both interior and exterior.
