So my husband and I did our first tandem jump at Skydive Jersey this past week and we had a great experience. From booking the reservation to the safety video and the instruction before hand and than finally the actual jump to afterwards what a rush of excitement. Staff was super friendly, funny and very informative. Owen was my instructor Matt was my husbands. Both very helpful and knowledgeable and made us feel at ease and safe. I highly recommend all to do this. We are ready to do it again, can’t wait!!!

Let me just start off by saying the jump itself and the staff are amazing. They put you right at ease, are super friendly & love to crack jokes.
The only reason this review isn’t 5 stars is because of the experience overall.
I purchased a groupon with 2 of my friends a couple months and we were all excited and nervous as this was going to be all of our first skydiving experiences. That being said, calling and booking the appointment was a quick and easy affair with a super friendly staff.
One day before we were scheduled to jump I got a call to confirm my appointment. An hour later I got a follow up call giving me the opportunity to reschedule the jump because there were plane difficulties and they weren’t 100% sure if the plane would be up and running the following morning. Unfortunately, I was not able to pick up both times because I was out running errands, by the time i received the voicemails I was panicking due to the fact that it was after hours and I didn’t know what to do.
Luckily I called and someone picked up and explained what was going on and once again gave me the chance to reschedule. Considering the drive was 1.5 hours and it’s hard enough to find a day everyone could go I took a chance and decided to go ahead and keep the appointment. Lucky for me, the next day I called in the morning and they said the plane was up and running. We arrived for our appointment, watched the video about our rights and hazards of skydiving (listing all the ways skydiving is dangerous, hazardous and deadly… YIKES) and then proceeded to wait for our jump.
There was about a 2 hour wait and the first group then got geared up and went. Our appointment was scheduled at 10 AM and by the time the first group came back it was 1140. By the time my friends and I were geared up it was 1230. As we were getting ready to board the plane there were plane difficulties and we were asked to go back and sit. After waiting a while the staff gave us the option of going to get lunch and coming back in an hour or rescheduling.
At this point I’ve been up since 7 am, waited 5 hours (technically 2.5 since my jump was at 10, however they ask you to get there by 930), and was tired, hungry, and annoyed. My friends and I chose to grab a quick bite at a cute café and received a call an hour later that we were able to come back. We were up and jumping by 3 pm.
My instructor was Muffy, my friend had Owen and my other friend had Tuco. I think each instructor suited our personalities perfectly and the jump was so easy, not scary, and breathtaking. The view is out of this world! Muffy was reassuring, funny, and just very reliable so I recommend people jump with him as he’s got over 1000 jumps under his belt!
Overall, looking back on my jump from yesterday I am happy with Skydive Jersey. My only two negatives would be that be prepared to wait and don’t get annoyed. Life happens, and plane difficulties occur however the staff are not to blame, you can’t control what happens. They’re watching out for your safety, however waiting is frustrating but you’ve been warned!
The other actual negative is the bathrooms. There are 2 out door port-​a-​potties that are absolutely disgusting. Remember to ask for tissues if they are out. If possible, avoid it all together cause it was disgusting beyond belief.
Other than that, enjoy and choose skydive. They are phenomenal and the view and jump is something everyone should do at least once in their life.

I used Groupon to buy two tickets for my dad and I for father’s day. Four months later, we finally made an appt.
When you arrive, you’re asked to sign several waivers electronically. (Basically if you die for any reason they’re not liable… but don’t worry, you won’t die!)
The staff is super friendly and chill. My instructor was Muffy — he was gregarious and down to earth. Cracking a couple jokes during our ascent helped put me at ease.
Splurge on the media package for $ 90 — you’ll receive an edited video of your jump as well as a variety of still photos. So worth it!
You can put down a deposit for your next jump and get a discounted rate. While you’re in the area check out beautiful historic Clinton, NJ.

The people who work here are very helpful, up to date and organized with how they keep track of jumps-​scheduling-​and any other questions you may have, Your depost is good for 2 years, and trust me that goes by easily. Three times my appt was canceled due to weather – but id rather be safe than sorry! I would suggest getting here about 45 mins before your appt if youre comin on the weekend, this place can get packed and you have plenty of paperwork to fill out. The media package is video & stills which will be emailed to you within 3 days ($ 90). As far as the jump, its fun and quick but the instructor youre paired up with will be funny and comforting towards you if youre nervous or its your first time I had paul as mine and he was fun, had some simple rules and instructions to follow. Overall i had a great experience here and since i enjoyed it so much — i put down a deposit for my next jump! which is going to be a big discount compared to the first jump!

Skydive NJ is… AWESOME!!! They are completely professional, knowledgeable, highly trained and made my first tandem dive perfect! Brandon was great! He explained everything to me twice and made sure I was completely comfortable with the dive and the whole experience. Chuck was also great! He is a part owner and also a wealth of knowledge and experience in sky diving. Knowing that you are among professionals is important and made me feel completely relaxed before, during, and after my first dive. Being in law enforcement I appreciate professionalism and Skydive NJ is the place to take your plunge into a tandem sky dive.

I had such an amazing experience. It was my first time skydiving and I am paralyzed from the waist down. They made sure I had the most experienced diver (he has 15 years of experience jumping); he really knew what he was doing. The video package is totally worth every penny, as they really capture your experience. I will be going again next year, we already left a deposit. I look forward to jumping multiple times after that; I would never jump with anyone else, these guys really are the best, and if I could give them more stars, I would. Thank you, I cannot say it enough.

Amazing experience! I jumped today and it was incredible. From the guy that carts you around, to your instructor the staff was so friendly. For such a scary event in your life, they really know how to make you feel relaxed and safe.
I highly recommend this company if you plan on jumping. Paul is a great instructor! Really knew how to make me laugh and make my friend and I have a great time. My friend had Rob! He’s so funny. Regardless who you. Get, you’re all together up there one way or another! Happy jumping!

Any skydiving place will give you an awesome experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. On my 4^th attempt, I finally got to jump due to weather conditions (too windy, raining, etc) 2 times drove there and 3^rd time I called twice to see if it was worth driving. They could have warned me ahead of time.
For example, the second time I drove down (1 and a half hour drive) it was too windy again. And they said you could wait and see if the wind dies down until finally one of them came up to me and my friend (an hour later) yeah I don’t think it will happen. But yet the lady at the booth said oh well you can wait. Like no! Tell me yeah I don’t think we will jump today. Don’t lead me on.

I had an amazing experience and everyone was very friendly. I felt very safe and they delivered something I will remember for the rest of my life. Thank you muffy

I love Skydive Jersey!!! I read the previous reviews and they’re very accurate! Everyone there are so friendly and funny, and they make you feel so comfortable! They really do make your jump fun and memorable! I went about a month ago. Unfortunately, my jump was rescheduled 4 times, due to the weather and plane maintenance. They obviously care about everyone’s safety!
I was a little nervous when I went, but once you jump, the feeling is so amazing! The only part that got me really nervous was the plane ride, only because it was a small plane. Other than that, everything was great! Jumping out, flying in the air was obviously the best part!!! I also purchased the media package which was great! Pictures and videos were awesome. Saved the video on my phone and I love watching it whenever I want to relive the moment!
I suggest going in the morning, during a weekday because the wait time is short! My friend and I got there a little after 10, and we were strapped with the equipment about half an hour later (after signing waivers). When I went with my friend on the weekend, we waited more than an hour for him to be strapped and a little longer to get on the plane.
So overall, jumping at skydive jersey was the best experience ever! I also had Muffy as my instructor and he was great, he probably sensed my nervousness and definitely calmed me down (joking around with me). I am planning to skydive here again in the end of August! It’s a MUST!

This place is amazing! I just jumped 2 days ago with a group of 4 and we had an epic experience. The instructors are 2^nd to none! They are hilarious, knowledgeable, and experienced! At one point I forgot we were climbing 14 000 ft to jump! Lol it was an amazing experience and I thank Luciano, Brandon, Muffy, and my other friend’s instructor for making our first jump awesome… And for keeping up alive! They did better than keeping the promise of getting us to the ground ! All of the staff and instructors are top notch and we will definitely be back!

Had one of the best days of my life. There are great and know what they are doing. Can’t wait to go again.

I bought two groupon’s for this place a few months and tried going in April, u fortunately the weather did not allow us to jump and had to reschedule for today.
A day before the jump (yesterday) the staff calls to confirm the appointment and advise that the weather is ⁵⁰⁄₅₀. Rescheduling at this point is not an option without penalty which sucks for people coming from the city because it’s about a 2 – 3 hour commute… However it is the nature of the business so I accept the risk.
The staff is really friendly and jumpers are experienced for sure, talking with some of the guys they all had 5+ years experience jumping which made me feel comfortable.
They offer a video package which I got as well, however I will not get the video for a few days which is also ok.
I give this place 3 stars because it was not a bad experience however it was also not a great experience.
I think if they can allow rescheduling based on weather predictions the day before the jump would be great, especially if the chance is less than 65% and folks are more than an hour away. For us in the city we have to take a day off to jump on week days.
I also think the photo package could be a bit more interactive, today was not a busy day at all. There could have been more still shots perhaps with a camera instead of the go pro and the go pro jump experience as well.
They do offer a return discounted package after the first jump which is cool

Amazing time!
1) The service here is very good.
2) This is a must do experience for anyone who enjoys an adventure.
3) Get the Groupon deal, save some $$$.

I’m writing this review a little late, but the experience will forever be engrained in my memory. I like trying new things, and skydiving is something I had never done, so I said, «Why not?» I’m so happy I did it! When you first skydive, you must go tandem. While it may appear weird to be strapped to a complete stranger, it also made me feel so much more comfortable. If I was the one responsible for avoiding landing in the Delaware Water Gap or atop a tree, the results may have been less positive.
Here’s the deal:
–Instructors were hilarious, made you feel comfortable
–Instructors are also very well-​trained. My friend jumped out first, and my instructor was so precise that I was able to give my friend a high-​five as we hit the ground
–We had great weather and views of the Delaware Water Gap, Philly
–Aim to fly earlier in the morning. We didn’t have to wait too long, but I’ve heard the wait can be worse later in the day
–Great pictures (if you get the media package)
*Note: The media package is an added expense, but if it’s your first time, get it. Yes, there will be many pictures that you cringe when you see as they snap a ton, but you’re bound to get at least a solid few good ones that you would never get otherwise
Was it a great experience? Absolutely. Would I do it again? Possibly, but I would want to try a new location for different views.

Overall DOPE EXPERIENCE!!! Weather delayed us 2 times, but we made it happen. Super professional and knowledgeable staff. Me and my friends didn’t wait long at all to jump… on a Sunday! Less than an hour we were getting suited up… My instructor was cool and funny (Dude with the beard, forgot his name) and made me feel good about the jump. As soon as we landed, me and my friends signed up again for our 2^nd jump. They offer a discounted rate for a 2^nd jump! Can’t wait to do it again next year!

HOLY. CANNOLI. what an experience!!! they made my 27^th birthday AMAZING! each and every one of the staff members were so chill, professional and extremely friendly.
PAUL-​this guy was awesome! what a jokester but made my jump so freaking great! definitely get the media package because youre not gonna wanna miss a second of this jump! all of the guys were so nice and so awesome. we were laughing non-​stop.
even though we were there for majority of the day (we were scheduled to jump at 11 for a group of 9 and were there until 330) it was such a blast. once we got our names called it was a quick turnaround time until we were loading onto the plane. they make you feel safe and ensure that you have a great experience. the instructions are pretty straightforward and the actual jump was the ultimate adrenaline rush!
this will be something i will NEVER forget!

I bought this coupon from Gilt and came to skydive. Before reviewing the actual dive, just a few comments on the Gilt package.
GILT PURCHASE DOES NOT INCLUDE MEDIA PACKAGE! (but Gilt says it’s included.) What’ll happen is that you’ll have to pay $ 90 once you receive for the media package, which includes a full video of your dive from before you board the plane to after you land and 40+ photos. JUST BUY IT, IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY.
Besides… just call Gilt afterwards for refund and they’ll refund you $ 90. It is Gilt’s mistake for misrepresenting. You may not get actual cash back and may get $ 90 back as store credit. This happened to my friend who got store credits back but I got actual money back.
Now onto the actual review:
The facility is much smaller and simpler than I imagined. You’ll have to wait anywhere between 1 – 3 hours because there are limited parachutes. Each time they are used, they have to be refolded back into the bags and that takes a lot of time. Also, weather conditions may change and it is illegal to dive when there is too much cloud cover.
The instructors are very friendly and they give good guidance. Overall, there is not much to learn beforehand; I mean. you’re already signing your life away on paper before you jump so there’s really nothing you can do.
About the dive, I have a TWO IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE:
1) It gets cold up there at 13k feet. Even if you’re coming on a 90 degrees summer weekend, wear a jacket.
2) You’ll have difficulty breathing during the initial phase of the free fall. I NEVER EXPECTED THIS TO HAPPEN. In hindsight, the changing air pressure was just too much to handle for amateurs like me. Your ears may also hurt, so make sure you keep your mouth open to balance the air pressure in and out of your body.
In conclusion, I enjoyed this experience and I am SUPER IMPRESSED with the media package they provide. Here’s Instagram video link of me during the free fall (yes I was very scared):

If you’re thinking about skydiving, this is the place to go! Staff is pretty chill. The instructors are great. I had Romero and he was great with instructions even though I was zoning out ‘cos I was antsy about the dive.
My pictures didn’t come out great so I was a bit disappointed. I do want to do it again though.
The directions to get here weren’t confusing so you’ll find this place in no time.
This place does get busy, especially during the summer days when it’s nice. Best time to go skydiving is during the spring or fall when school’s back in session
