Raul and the entire team at Impulse Lighting are the best! We hired them for our wedding to do the lighting, draping, and two synced projectors and screens for a video that was played during dinner. Not only were their packages more affordable than other lighting & draping companies, but their draping is of a much higher quality material and their customer service is excellent! Raul let us see another event they lit and draped before we signed with them (which was very reassuring to be able to see what we were getting) and even put beads behind the head table to give it an extra sparkle. They arrived early, made sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it (we had a custom gobo and they made sure it was positioned where we envisioned it) and were extremely helpful and amiable throughout the day! We couldn’t have had a better experience, and will definitely use them on any big event in the future!

Impulse Event Lighting was one of the greatest decisions I made for my wedding. I didnt even know they were there. All lights were put up prior to reception and taken down after. There prices as well were very reasonable and Raul was very considerate in returning calls as well as being patient with my scattered bride brain. I most definitely would use them again as well as refer them to anyone in need! Thank you Raul and all those at Impulse.

We had our wedding this January 2016 at the Diamond Bar Center and we LOVED what Impulse Event Lighting was able to do for us. Impulse Event Lighting did my outdoor wedding reception this past weekend (300+ guests), and it was amazing. I’m a professional event planner, so I work with a lot of vendors. Of all the vendors I evaluated for my wedding, Raul and his team were the absolute best in terms of service, design, and price. It was a pretty elaborate setup with plenty of string lights, uplights, and draping in an outside pool area of a golf club. I received so many compliments about how beautiful it all was. And he provided this wonderful LOVE table that we used as the sweetheart table. Overall, I highly recommend Raul and his staff to anyone who has lighting/​draping/​decorating needs.

Well ive been hiring Impulse since they started there event business back in 2008,2009. They did one of my big warehouse events I had DJ palooza. We hired about 15 djs to play back to back in many rooms. It was insane and fun. Impulse hooked it up with the most amazing lighting ever and were extremely professional and on time. Impulse has done about 10 other events for me since then. My end of year tax parties and other. I recommend Impulse to anyone i know. Ill see you in May Impulse.

I called and spoke to Raul after booking his services for our wedding. I explained to him that my to-​be husband lost his job and we couldn’t afford the wedding we had booked Impulse for. Raul was kind and shared with me that he could refund my deposit of $ 350 after reviewing with his business partner («which shouldn’t be a problem»). After 3 weeks, I still had not heard back from him. I called again and clearly caught him off-​guard. He said he was on a job and would prefer I email him a formal request. I obliged. This was back in August. Three months have passed. I have called 3 times since, leaving friendly voicemails requesting a call back. Nothing.
If you can’t refund, say so. Don’t string me along.

I was so thrilled with the service I received from Raul and his team at Impulse Event Lighting! I reserved string bistro lighting and a sound system for my husband’s surprise party in Yorba Linda recently and was so happy with how everything turned out. The Impulse team showed up right on time to load in and set up everything and I was so pleased with the final product. Having the string lights added so much to the backyard and the sound system was perfect to go with my playlist on the iPad.
I would highly recommend Impulse Event Lighting for any event needs and hope to be able to have another event in the future where I can utilize their services! I have nothing but good things to say about Impulse Event Lighting. From the moment I contacted Raul, he was always very professional and responsive. Any questions I had he answered promptly! My wedding was on October 10, 2015 and Raul did the purple uplighting, pin spots for the main and cake tables, a custom monogram and a backdrop for our sweetheart table. Everything was absolutely gorgeous and perfect! The ballroom was simply magical with all the lights and our monogram on the wall. it was pefect and I couldn’t have asked for anything more!

We rented our dance floor from Raul for our daughters wedding this past weekend at Brea Community Center and although we booked by phone and never met in person, they were professional and just a great pleasure to work with. They were timely and made sure the floor was kept clean by having it covered until the reception was about to begin.
Even when we found out that we had to downgrade our dance floor to accommodate our ever growing guest list, Raul kindly made the change and adjusted the rate fairly and honestly. We need more people like Raul in this world and highly recommend this company!

We got married July 11, 2015. The first time i saw pictures of impulse event lighting i knew from that moment that i wanted to have drapes and lights at our wedding. The day i contacted Raul, he got back to me that evening, he was really professional. I sent him pictures of samples that i liked and he did an amazing job! We had been to so many weddings at the Encinitas Community Center so we wanted something different. We loved how the setting looked at the reception and we got so many complements.

Raul did the lighting for my daughter’s wedding which was held at the Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu. Raul turned this outdoor venue into the most beautiful and magical place you could imagine. All of the trees that surrounded the tables and dance floor were beautifully iluminated. A gorgeous chandelier was hung from the trees over the dance floor. It was exquisite!
Not only did Raul do a wonderful job, he also happens to be a really nice guy to work with. My very busy wedding planner who’s been in the business for a long time, absolutely loved working with him and plans to use him in the future. Good wedding planers know a good vendor when they see them.
Costs. All I can say is Raul’s prices are more than fair. There were no surprise added on costs. I paid exactly what his estimate was. Before hiring Raul I got one estimate that was almost 4 times what Raul charged. I knew this guy was just trying to gouge me and I quickly moved on. But be careful. Unfortunately not all lighting companies are fair, resonable, and honest in their pricing.
I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to use Raul again. I highly recommend Impulse Event Lighting.

So my fiancé and I first came across Raul on Instagram when we saw a photo of an event that he did at the Waterfront Hilton which was the same place we were going to have our wedding reception at. I have always wanted a white dance floor (because the wood style wasnt going to cut it for me lol) for our wedding and I was comparing prices with a bunch of other vendors and everybody had extremely outrageous prices! I really loved the work that I saw on Instagram so I hit him up and he got back to me really quickly via Instagram he then private message me and then moved our conversation onto email. I probably went back-​and-​forth with Raul in terms of messaging and emails like 100 times or something. Yes I am a very meticulous and paranoid bride lol. He always responded to my emails quickly and efficiently and when he wasn’t able to he would let me know before hand that he had an event to do and would get back to me as soon as he was done.
He was so easy to work with! I kept asking for pricing on different things over and over again and he never once complained. I ended up getting my seamless white dance floor with a custom monogram (2 colors). are monogram by the way was freakin amazing and was EXACTLY what I had sent him if not better lol. Oh!!! We also had him provide our 30 foot backdrop! The material he used was not some thin cheap looking one! It definitely had some thickness to it and looked really great! This is what we had originally set up our contract with.
Then at the very last minute I decided to ask for his pricing on pin spotting again and because we were already working with him he decided to offer is a great great deal on the pinspotting! And trust me I have talked to a million vendors about the cost of pinspotting lighting and their prices were extremely high. A lot of them were even quoting me quadruple the price that he was asking for! I never got the opportunity to actually meet Raul and his team in person but the fact that I never even had to meet him physically and still have a great outcome when everything is truly amazing. Please do not hesitate to go with impulse they are simply amazing and do an outstanding job!!! Thank you and pulls for putting together such an amazing set up! Everybody loved twerking their asses off on the dance floor and the pin spotting of all the centerpieces and the cake table really made a big difference and was worth every penny! THANKS RAUL!!!
