They did a good job on my gel nails but I came here after reading it was very clean and hygienic. THAT WAS NOT MY EXPERIENCE. When she was putting some cleaners on my hand at the end, she poured it on a cotton ball and dropped it on the floor. Laughing, she picked it up and went to put it on my hand. My mom and I stopped her because that is unacceptable. If you are concerned with germs and hygiene, I recommend finding another salon.

They did a really great job in fixing and putting new gel on my nails! Their customer service was great, I felt really welcomed. I will definitely be back even if it’s a far drive for me!

Today I had an appointment with Kevin at 10AM to do a gel manicure and have a pedicure. I showed up on time to my appointment and had to wait 25 minutes until Kevin even showed up. I let that go because apparently there was a parade that was holding up traffic and some streets were blocked off. So he comes in and puts the foil on my nails to soak off the gel that was already on my nails. Then they walked me over to the pedicure bowl to start soaking my feet. Mind you while I was waiting, there was another lady who did not have an appointment that they decided to start working on first (manicure and pedicure at the same time). So I’m waiting to have someone start working on my toes and Kevin starts doing another walk in’s acrylics! So, let me recap here, I had an appointment at 10AM, waited 25 minutes for the guy to even show up, all the while they could have been doing my pedicure, and then proceeded to take TWO walk in’s ahead of me! I ended up walking out with my gel half soaked I was so upset. I’m so sad, I LOVED this salon! I will not be back and I will be letting all of my other friends know about my experience. DONE! By the way, I ended up at Lavender down the street by Trader Joes where they took me right away and did an awesome job! Try it!

I come here every time I’m visiting. I wish they had a place this good in Sacramento.

I just got a mani/​pedi done by Vivian and Anna. They both did a great job and were very friendly. I took my boyfriend to get a mani/​pedi for the first time and he loved it as well. Definitely will be coming back!

Kevin and Jenny are AMAZING. The salon Is always clean and the employees are always courteous and accommodating. Very reasonable in price and have never left less than pleased.

I’ve come here about once a month to get my eyebrows done for awhile now. This last time was a horrible experience. The woman who normally does eyebrow waxing was not there and another filled in. She did a great job with one eyebrow but the other one she removed half my eyebrow. She claimed it was like that prior to coming in. She refused to accept any responsibility. Will never come here again

Jenny treats customers differently and we all pay the same… I was there yesterday she did a very bad job on my eyelashes in this was not the first time… Last two weeks I was there she had me waiting 45 minutes from my appointment and also cancel on me twice and never called me back to reschedule all I wanted today what’s me eyelash fix and she cannot get me back in until Monday. So I have to walk around for the next 4 days with one I missing a bunch of eyelashes I will never go there

Don’t get me wrong the atmosphere in this salon is amazing. Very clean, very stylish and very new. Big selection of colors and of color gels. I walked in aa I do with my nail places and I wanted to get a full set with tips and a pedicure. Since a station to get my nails done wasn’t available I started with the pedicure. I work as a hairstylist so I’m on my feet all day I and I know they get crazy so I got the Calis remover and I told the lady I felt pressure on my big toe nail and she gave me the gentlist pedicure ever. Now this isn’t a bad thing but I need to get my ingrown toe nail out and my feet scrubbed. By the time I was done with my pedicure the place was busy so I didn’t have anything else to do that day so I said I’d come back and Jenny insisted that she took me then it must have been about 1:55 when she started my nails but she had an appointment scheduled for 2. That was not cool or professional that she took me and blew off her regular customer. My acrylics are too short and they got cloudy. This place was decent but skipping an appointment on purpose is not okay in my book. Plus I can get a better set of nails for half the price other places.

I just moved into the area and have tried other places but have not been impressed… But I found my new salon! Kevin did my fill/​gel mani and Van did my pedi. Both came out awesome! They are both perfectionists so needless to say my nails look perfect! Everybody here is nice and professional. I was impressed that Kevin didn’t skip any layers of gel like some places do. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Really beautifully decorated and accommodating place. They stayed over an hour after scheduled closing to accommodate to my last minute requests. Staff very friendly, nice and welcoming. Excellent choice of gel nail colors, most I’ve seen from other local nail salons. Nice, small cLean complex. So happy I found this place!

The girl who worked on my gel mani/​spa pedi did a good job and I really appreciated that they had sets with regular colors for toes that matched their gel colors for fingers. I love when my polish matches. :)
They were a little pricier than I’m used to paying (about $ 10 more or so), but I live in Garden Grove, so almost nowhere is as inexpensive as the places I’m used to frequenting near home. They were more reasonable than some of the other places in Placentia and Yorba Linda, though. They weren’t on the fastest side, but I also had to remove my previous gel, so that takes time — and I’ll take quality over speed any day since gel lasts so long.
I wouldn’t take a special trip up from GG to come here, but if I ever want to get my nails done again while up visiting the mamsan, this will be my go-​to place.

I relocated to CA and was not able to locate a great salon that I can consider «One Stop Shop»; which they can do it all from hair, facial, nails and more.
Istyle Salon is a great husband and wife team that put you fist so that you can have a wonderful experience and be pampered from head to toe.
Give them a try; they are the best!

I came here because they could accomadate my bridal party at one time. They were friendly & nice but what was a little annoying was that when they called to confirm my appt they left a super long voicemail explaining that if i dont come they are losing business because i am taking up a lot of spots. Ok… i understand that, but a Normal confirmation call would do.
Then when we were ready to pay they refused to accept the Unilocal deal they have… Which is still posted as $ 3 FOR mani/​pedi (which i assumed was a typo & they meant $ 3 off.) Nope. They claimed Unilocal added that on their page without them knowing…
Later that day, i have another loong voicemail explaining that they didnt post anything on Unilocal so its not their fault they couldn’t honor it. They also said its been removed. Here is a screen shot taken today… i went 1 month ago

My favorite salon! Jenny and Kevin, the owners, are extremely friendly and genuinely caring about their customers. Jenny has extensive knowledge about the best treatments, and takes great care of you! She really does want to do everything she can to help you and is very careful with everything to do the absolute best you could ask for. Kevin is also very skilled with hair cutting and dying, and has always taken the most honestly caring, precautious measures to take care of my hair. Both are incredibly friendly, professional, skilled, and sweet. I’d recommend to anyone!

Jenny is such a sweet lady. I found her here on Unilocal about a year & a half to 2 years ago, I believe. So this review is long overdue!
I came to her because I saw that she did semi permanent makeup tattooing & was closest to me. Other places I know of are in Westminster, China Town, etc.
I started off with very unflattering eyebrows. They had a shape I didn’t like & there wasn’t very much hair. I called & I spoke with her about coming in for a consultation for the eyebrow tattooing. I came in the next day. She started sketching some shapes onto my eyebrow with an eyebrow pencil. She showed me what she liked & asked me if I wanted it any other way. I loved the shape she gave me! She told me that if I wanted to do it that very same day, she could do it right there & then. After an hour and half, I had some eyebrows!
Right after she tattooed me, she noticed all of the flat, black moles I had all over my face. She told me she could remove them ASAP. So I laid back down so she could zap off my moles!
So in one appointment, she managed to tattoo my eyebrows & zap off my moles! She made conversation with me the whole time. She knew I was & still am a full time student, so she gave me a really great deal!
I stop by occasionally to touch up or re-​color my eyebrows so it matches when I change up my hair color. I also stop by when I see some random moles appear on my face.
She’s such a sweet lady & her husband, Kevin, gives really nice men’s haircuts. He cuts my brother’s hair from time to time & knows exactly how to do it.
I thought it might be useful to add some eyebrow tattoo tips:
–they’re dark right after they’ve been tattooed. looks scary & very chola-​like (think sharpie eyebrows)
–however, after a week, the tattoo should scale or peel off with a much better color
–4 weeks later, the color should be perfect!
–don’t touch your eyebrows!!!
–when you get home, wet a cotton ball & wipe off the clear liquid & blood
–make sure it stays moist. dab a tiny bit of unscented lotion onto them every so often
–stay home for a week! lol
I get compliments all the time on my eyebrows! Some people even believe they are natural! I recommend her to everyone!

For years I thought this place only did nails, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they’re a FULL service salon.
The place is very clean and beautifully decorated (complete with chandeliers). The staff is very friendly. Kevin did my hair. I received a wash, cut, and blowout for $ 35. He paid great attention to detail and had lots of hair tips to offer. Don’t let the price fool you, they use top salon quality hair products.
I will definitely be back again.
