Personally i think they did fantastic job the choir gowns/​robes but gezzz 20 bucks per gown??? And choir accessory for 5 bucks. Other dry cleaning places do those for 5 dollars per gown and accessory for 1 dollar with the same dry cleaning qualities. Also they didnt explain to me why 20 bucks per gown.
I hope that one day, they can take this into consideration «lower the prices»
Pro: good customer services, decent dry cleaning qualities, and fast services and close to home
Cons: pricely (ripped off), lack of explanations why charge so much.

Excellent service at the Costa Mesa — near South Coast — location! My order was even ready early and I loved that I got email notification that my clothes were ready to pick up.

The dry cleaning is done well and within the projected pick-​up time. The staff is friendly and helpful. Managing dry cleaning orders via the online account from the Kona Cleaners website is convenient. Also, the e-​mail notifications for completed orders is a nice bonus. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would bring clothes again.

We were met at the counter by a smiling, efficient and informative employee. Items were taken and exchanged for a claim tag. An e-​mail was received to tell us our cleaning was ready for pick up, this was a really nice reminder, love that! Upon returning to the store to pick up items, we were again met by a smiling, efficient and informative employee who told us about more services you provide. Thank you. We enjoyed the experience. I love this place. Not only is the dry cleaning service the best but the customer service is outstanding. I had some of my clothing repaired they did a superb sewing job. I have to drive from Diamond Bar to the location on Richfield but so worth it

Friendly and helpful service. The clothing was ready when promised. I’m a new customer and was looking for a reputable place for my husband’s dry cleaning. He has expensive shirts and requires special service and Kona was able to accommodate us. The pricing a comparable, but a bit more than previous places I’ve used.

I have been a customer of Kona for years but just recently got an account separate from my parents. I really appreciate receiving an email when my order is ready and an emailed receipt. Would recommend them over anyone else!

I love my Kona Cleaners! Been with them since they opened here in Huntington Beach! Josseline consistently greets me by name and always with her fabulous smile. Despite having lost a couple pieces of cleaning, she seemingly works miracles, almost always tracking them down. If cleaning is not to her satisfaction, she’s on it before the OCD in me has a chance to mention it. Generally, staff is friendly, kind, attentive to my cleaning needs and professional in all they do! In addition to our clothing, they also clean our small area rugs, 3 of our bed comforters, throw pillow covers and table linens. Can’t imagine life without Kona!

I have been coming to this dry cleaners for years. I remember when Maria was there and had the best customer service. When she was moved to another location I was a bit sad, but Jessica is great too! It just shows that their customer service is superb. I have moved out of the area, but continue to come to them because of their great customer service and the way they take care of my clothes/​orders. Additionally if you live in the area they will pick up and drop off your dry cleaning, how great is that. I like them because when I get my clothes back it doesn’t have a yucky smell like other dry cleaners and they haven’t shrunk any of my clothes like other dry cleaners. I have even taken my comforters and throw pillows and they have been cleaned great.

My first time going to this dry cleaner– comforter looks brand new! Definitely will use again!

I am SO frustrated and DISAPPOINTED with Kona cleaners. I brought my work pants in to be cleand (5 pairs) and some tops. I thought they were a little expensive but I thought wow they must do a great job and they offer same day cleaning. I picked up my cleaning and the next day I noticed discoloration along the seams of my pants. The discoloration was so obvious theres no way I can wear these pants. The pants are new and should have been returned like so. I brought the pants in the next day to be fixed or replaced. The owners wife called me and assured me they could be fixed and that she would take off 10 dollars per each pair of pants. She said I could pick them up that day by 5. I wasnt able to get there so I came in the following morning. The girl at the counter said my pants still werent ready. I was told they would be. and now theyre not. She said theyll be ready TODAY by 5. I sent in my dad to get them today. because I work late. My dad came in to get the pants and now they cant be found and no one knows where my pants are. She said they COULD be at their other office. which is now closed. SO now. im out of my work pants until Tuesday. I am so frustrated, no one will answer or return my calls. This is very unprofessional. I will never have anything else cleaned here and I will let all of my friends and family know not to take their clothes here. I cannot imagine how they continue to run a business this way.

I dropped off a dress for an alteration and not only was it not done on time, they lost the dress. When I went to pick it up, they could not find it at any of their stores. There was no sense of urgency or care on their part, and nothing was done to try and find my dress, even though it was needed immediately. If you are looking for customer service who works quickly and cares about the client, Kons is definitely not the place to go to.

I must say I am really pleased with the results after I wrote my initial review. The manager contacted me and not only did he do the alteration at no charge but also refunded the money that was charged and a Starbucks gift card. I will definitely be using Kona cleaners again. Thank you.
