Horrible, horrible, horrible service!!! Never again. We decided to try something new, but we never got the chance to try the food because it never arrived.

We read the reviews about fried chicken with fries plate, w/the fries getting soggy. So placed delivery order, w/fries & roll to be in separate bags!!! WOW! BEST fried chicken found anywhere we’ve been to. First time order & we’ll be calling again & again!

OK let’s start off with fried chicken, french fries and pizza are my FAVORITE foods. So I’m always on the look out for great reviews on these particular foods. Mom lives down the street and has ordered chicken here before & thought I’d try it. I ordered the chicken dinner asked what it came with and I was told 4 pieces of chicken, fries and a roll. Came out to be $ 10.79 total with tax. I opened the styrofoam box and was like where’s my roll? Moved the chicken around, oh! There it is! Under all the fried chicken. Why would you put bread under streaming hot fried chicken? There goes the roll. Fries were greasy and soggy, the roll well. It was OK besides that it had been squished by the delicious fried chicken. The chicken is what saved the night. Crisp outside, fully cooked inside, but moist. I didn’t find any globby fat pieces, thank God. The counter lady was a little rude, waited for me to pay before food would be made. Delivery driver walked in with 2 tall cans of Bud light(which I took as he’s driving under the influence) hmmm… I saw cards on the counter for Hubgrub and thght I better do a review, cause I know I’d appreciate it. I also saw that this place hadn’t very many reviews to begin with, which is an injustice to Unilocal users. lol

I work nearby this place, and have been here a handful of times. I haven’t tried their pizza yet, or their wings which are supposed to be really good, but their sandwiches are tasty and inexpensive(and closer than Subway). I just ordered the Bomber sandwich which was ready to go in about five minutes. As far as looks go this place is pretty divey, with just a few tables chairs and an old arcade game system that doesn’t seem to work. None of that matters to me as long as the service is fast and the food is good, which it is. Now I just need to try their pizza and wings for the full experience.

These people are the most hardworking people ive ever met. Their prices are amazing and their pizza is delicious. If you go in and buy your pizza they give you an even better price.

Well in an attempt to support a local business, we gave the pizza man a chance. We received a flyer in our mail and I ordered the 2 large 2 toppings pizzas and 1 Italian salad. The lady was very nice over the phone and said it would take 40 min. Be warned they charge $ 0.50 to use debit(really in 2013??). After an hour and 15 minute wait and still no pizza I called and they said she was on her way. When we got the food, lets just say I had a flash back to elementary school pizza Friday. The crust was cardboard and the cheese plastic. And the salad said it had salami and it came with, count them, 7 small squares of lunch meat ham. I guess I should have taken the Unilocal reviews to heart or just tried the sandwiches. But after getting burned once I definitely won’t be back. If you’re looking for good quality pizza in Placentia CSUF area go for Maria’s or Tony’s on Placentia and bastanchury.

While meeting with a client in Placentia I stumbled across this mom & pop pizza/sandwich place & wasn’t expecting much but what I ordered was actually so delicious that sometimes whenI am in the area I stop by. So far I’ve tried the Malibu chicken sandwich SOGOOD the ingredients were very fresh, it was ready quickly it was a large enough portion for 2 meals & the people inside we’re really nice. They let me use their«one free side» coupon(I got fries yum). I’ve also tried their teriyaki chicken bowl & pizza bread & loved them both. so affordable for the quality you’re getting AND they even have tables & chairs & a tv inside. I’m getting hungry just writing this review craving pizza now –__–

If there isn’t anything else open, then yeah. It’s ok. Crappy service and the food is just ok. I eat there when I don’t have too many choices.

In a silent strip mall(I mean really silent, like its the only thing that’s open in its area past 5) sits the Brown Bag/Pizza Man. Many a time had I driven past this place, in fact, I drove my car into a bush in front of it several years ago. I’ve lived less than a block away for the last 11 years of my life. So I finally ventured in, their sandwiches are pretty decent. Pizza is just ok. The egg salad sandwich is pretty good, although they can get a little heavy handed with the mayo. I always order before I come in; especially since late at night they may not have boiled eggs(what?!)

Man… This place isn’t even worth the effort to write a raving rant… 45 min to get food… all three of us thought it SUCKED. Dead bug in my water should of been an omen of what was about to come.

I will be honest yet again… I eat Subway on a daily basis from M-F. Footlong ham or turkey on white(Subway’s wheat bread has high fructose corn syrup, avoid like the plague), all veggies, no mayo, no oil. Eat half w/a handful of almonds, wait two and a half hours, eat the other half w/a handful of almonds. I party like a culinary rockstar when I’m out and about with friends, but during the daytime, my diet is about as exciting as watching a Dynasty marathon. With that being said, I do enjoy a homemade style sandwich once in a while for sure, because you definitely get the processed unnatural feeling when eating at Subway, Quiznos, etc. I passed by this place several times without even giving it a second thought, but one morning I drifted into the parking lot to see what this place was all about. Perusing the menu, I quickly picked what I believe was called«The autobahn», which had turkey and liverwurst with swiss. I got the sandwich on some squaw bread, and added everything they offer which is tomato, lettuce, onion, mustard, mayo, oil. I quickly stowed sandwich bag on passenger seat and floored the car to get to the office. I ravenously attacked the sandwich and must admit it was one of the best sandwiches I ever had! The turkey meat was high quality as well as the liverwurst, all the vegetables were fresh and the bread was definitely a cut above the rest. It also came w/a sealed plastic bag which contained a pickle spear and some pepperocinis which were a nice touch. Since then I have had an egg salad sandwich, turkey and ham, and tuna on various breads including a white roll and regular whole wheat. All of the sandwiches were top notch, and the pricing is very reasonable. About 7 dollars a sandwich. The place is super clean, they have a good selection of chips and drinks, even beers. If you are in the area you should come check this place out, even if you aren’t it is worth the drive in my opinion. Sandwich shops of this caliber are far and few between in this day and age.
