History

Established in 2009.

Comprehensive In Home Care, Inc. was started in 2009 by Mary Lou Peet. After years of struggling to find care for her own family, Mary Lou decided to take what she learned from these experiences to help others. And finding good caregivers is key. Our caregivers are licensed, bonded and drug tested. Our caregivers receive on going training. Seniors are happier and receive better care when they can stay in familiar surrounding at home.

Comprehensive In Home Care, Inc. is a proud member of The Senior’s Choice.

Mary Lou P.

Business Owner

Mary Lou Peet is the founder and president of Comprehensive In Home Care, Inc. Twenty years ago she and her husband owned another thriving business when Mary Lou was caring for her Aunt. As her Aunt’s needs increased beyond the families ability to meet these needs, Mary Lou tried to hire people to help her. It was hard to find good people but easy to find people who wanted to take advantage of a senior with dementia. So she tried to hire an agency and was not impressed with them either. She said, «Someone should care for the elderly who has a clue!» not realizing that this would be her next business. She has kept the agency fairly small in order to keep the quality of care up. Six years into the business she says this is the most rewarding work of her life. «Caring for others is food for our souls.»
