History
Established in 2010.
Placerville Orthodontics has been around for over 40 years and in 2010 ownership was taken over by Dr. Matthew Sanders.
Meet the Business Owner
Dr. Matthew Sanders S.
Business Owner
Dr. Sanders was born and raised in Humboldt County, CA. After completing his undergraduate studies at La Sierra University in Riverside, CA, he went on to receive his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry (LLUSD). He received his degree with honors in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He was also inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society, which prides itself on academic excellence and character.
Upon graduating, Dr. Sanders completed a year of General Practice Residency at the Jerry L. Pettis VA Hospital before returning back to LLUSD to receive his Master’s Degree in Orthodontics and Certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Sanders is a member of the American Academy of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association.
Besides having a passion for orthodontics, Dr. Sanders family time with his wife Joyce, and 4 kids.
