Business Owner

My name is Tamara, and I love dogs! My husband Dave and I have owned dogs our whole lives. We are often told that our dogs are lucky, spoiled and have great lives, and you can see from many of our pictures that it’s true! Our babies are Kitsu, an 11 year old border collie/​chow mix, and Klaus, a 2 year old border collie/​hound mix. Kitsu likes to chill these days, but Klaus loves welcoming new friends to our home (which is where Pupperville Playcare is located!)

Since we moved to Placerville a few years ago, it’s been our dream to open a small daycare and boarding business. I’d like to emphasize the ‘small’ part, because our focus is to provide a homey environment where each dog gets lots of love, exercise and attention. We do however, have large secure dog runs, and a cozy indoor kennel with all the comforts of home. During boarding, some dogs will even be able to stay in our house with us.
