Nick is a California based filmmaker and media visionary. Nick’s work has taken him from the jungles of Central America to the plains of Africa in projects that have ranged from archiving indigenous history to capturing humanitarian injustice. Nick’s work includes freelance projects with national companies, foundations and NGO’s including Outside Magazine, FOX, the United Nations, Smithsonian, Comcast, Yelp, Groupon, Earth Train International and Humble Pie Entertainment. Nick most recently Directed/​Shot/​Edited the documentary, Drawn From Water.

What started out as a simple project has grown to epic proportions and it’s all because of Teton Productions. As a health coach, I often talk about the same topics over and over with clients. That gets a bit tedious so I wanted to create a tutorial on how to make milk kefir as if I was in my client’s own kitchen showing them the step-​by-​step process. I enlisted Nick’s help and I was absolutely thrilled with the end result. He helped me create an amazing video that was not just informative but engaging, fun and professional.
Within a year, I was ranking in the #1 and #2 spots in the YouTube search engine for milk kefir tutorials! At the time of writing this review I’ve got over 100,000 views and hundreds of comments from people on YT who LOVE this tutorial and are begging for more videos!
Additionally, I now have the gift of being connected to THOUSANDS online. It has increased my visibility and my brand significantly and I now have a platform to build on for future projects — like the book I’m currently writing.

The Milk Kefir Tutorial:

We needed a short promotional video for our retail candy store when we entered a local business competition (Sacramento’s Calling All Dreamers competition). It needed to capture our concept and look clean and professional. Teton came through in a major way. The video, shot in our kitchen, came out looking like something shiny and polished from the Food Network.
Here’s what we received from Nick and Teton:
Editing our script: Nick was able to pull out the best bits, make more suggestions, and revise it to make it easier to shoot.
Filming expertise: Nick set up the shots, helped direct the shoot
Editing: Nick pieced it all together, found music for it, seamlessly integrated our photos, and even went the extra mile when we had to do some last-​minute revisions.
The final product is something we’re super proud of and even though it’s not in circulation anymore (We won the competition and now operate a lovely little candy shop in downtown Sacramento), people still talk about the video, saying things like: «That video was SO professional. Wow.»

Antioch, CA
We were looking for new ways to increase our visibility and offer our services to our local community. Teton productions provided us with the great idea of advertising at local movie multiplex theatres. Nick produced a short 45 second commercial for us. He had great ideas and kept it simple and to the point. Our employees were the actors in the commercial and our members are tickled to see «their» credit union up on the big screen. It has been so successful that just last weekend we started showing in a second multiplex and this week, someone came in and obtained a car loan. He said he saw our ad at the movies and was pleased to know he could join our Credit Union. This is now our primary way of advertising.
