The Parlor by Penny Chabot

A few days ago I had my first spray tan by Penny. And I can’t believe how great it turned out. While there we discussed a few recent health issues I’d been having and she recommended her cranial sacral therapy which I had heard of before. Today I went for my first CST session and it was beyond amazing. My back and leg pain is almost completely gone after just one session and my entire body and mind feel ‘in alignment’ for the first time in ages. This was truly a healing experience and I recommend it for everyone. It’s a great alternative to chiropractic care as well which in the past has been difficult for me. I’m so happy I found Penny! Her knowledge and gentle personality have helped me so much already. I’m excited for further sessions.

My fiancé booked me an appointment with Penny the very next morning after receiving her facial. Boy I am sure glad she did! We both should have taken before and after pictures because the results are amazing!

Penny is THE best at what she does. She waxes my eyebrows and she has also given me a spray tan. I loved the tan and I also wouldn’t go anywhere else for my eyebrow waxing. Penny has provided waxing and massage treatments to me for over 10 years. She provides consistently relaxing and top notch therapeutic services. She is my massage therapist of choice and an excellent business professional. I love her recent expansion. The vibe is so relaxing & quiet– a perfect (and in town!) escape. If only I could get daily massages!

I had gotten massages and eyebrow waxing from Penny for years when she worked for Dynamic Images. At Dynamic Images she was professional, but she worked under another business’ model. Then, I got massages twice a week from Penny for a neck injury after she started her own business. That’s about 8 to 9 hours per month, which is a lot more time than the typical customer spends with Penny, so I got to know her a little better than the typical customer who spends about 20 minutes per month getting waxed or something. It was long enough for Penny to use at least one of my massages as her counseling session. I am a caring person so I listened to her, but I was paying her for massages to relax not talk about her problems. I was so uncomfortable! This experience was unprofessional. There were other incidents of her unprofessionalism. For example, she told me that she would provide a service one minute, then she changed her mind and made it personal. It’s not personal, because I was a customer patronizing her business. I didn’t go for any other reason than to heal an injury in my neck, but what I experienced was a business owner who was inconsistent, rigid, moody, difficult to talk to and reason with, which forced me to shoulder the burden of her inexperience in business professionalism when she made the business issues personal and about her. Plus, and more importantly, she did NOT show customer appreciation. I was deeply offended by these experiences and will not return.

If you want to have the best experience with either a facial, massage, or spray tan, I recommend you go to Penny. From the moment you walk in, she is able to capture your needs and take care of you.
When you get a massage, Penny has magical fingers and you wont want her to stop.
The ambiance is relaxing and comfortable, which transports me into a state of relaxation and when I leave I always have a smile on my face.

I had a facial today at the Parlor. From the relaxing environment to Penny’s careful and considerate, skillful attentions, it was a fantastic experience. She was friendly, explaining what she was doing, then quiet when it came time for my relaxing mask. All in all, i highly recommendmher.
