History

Established in 1981.

Andreasen Travel & Tours opened in April of 1981. It was started by Pat & Earl Andreasen and managed by their daughter Ingrid Price. Ingrid purchased the agency from her mother 15 years ago. Originally located where the Lockport Street Gallery is now, moving to the Courtyard Building in 1983 after a complete renovation. The current building is listed on the National Historical Registry due to its cottage style architecture that was common with Standard Oil Gas Stations. Coincidentally, in the 1970’s when the building was used as a Welco Gas Station it was owned and operated by Ingrid’s father in law Jim Price.

Ingrid developed her passion for travel growing up traveling the world with her father who was a pilot for United airlines. After graduating from High School it was her parents her encouraged her to turn her love of vacationing into a business career. Ingrid became a travel agent in 1979 and has since helped thousands of families enjoy the freedom and peace of mind of traveling. She handles all of the headaches so YOU don’t have too!

Ingrid has been married to Chris Price since 1985 and they have two children, Chelsea and Jake.
