Arriving Naturally provides emotional, physical and informational support to an expectant family before, during and immediately after the birth of their child. My primary drive and goal as a doula is to help women and their families to have the birthing experience they desire by educating and empowering them to make informed and self-​directed birth choices. My role is to be a positive, nurturing, and co-​operative partner in the family’s birthing experience. I feel so blessed to be a part of the birthing experience of so many amazing families and helping them to welcome their child into the world.

As a licensed massage therapist I also provide in home prenatal massage services with a custom pregnancy massage table.

History

Established in 2012.

Becoming a mother changed my life in ways I never imagined, with each unique birth experience my hunger for knowledge grew and I came to understand that education and support are the most important components of a positive and rewarding birth.

Meet the Business Owner

Nicole W.

Business Owner

Nicki is a DONA-​trained doula and is blessed and honored to be supporting women and their families to have the birth experience they desire. She considers her passion for supporting, educating, and empowering women and families a calling which was born out of the unique birthing experiences of her own three children. Nicki’s birth stories include personal experience of Cesarean-​section, VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean), and natural birth. Each of these experiences impacted her life differently and she understands firsthand the importance of having a knowledgeable and supportive presence throughout the birth process.

In addition to being a doula, Nicki is a Licensed Massage Therapist and while working in the chiropractic field for the last 9 years has developed and cultivated an understanding of holistic care and has specialized in prenatal massage for the last 4 years. Nicki makes her home in Plainfield, IL with her husband, Corey, and their three children, Sage, Skylyn, and Sedona
