Billsimo does shared ride and private car service for about 75 suburbs far west and south west of Chicago to /​from Ohare and Midway Airports! We started in 1981 as Airtran-​Ohare, then Bluebird Limousine, now as Bills Limo Dispatch, ²⁴⁄₇. Then we started Bluebird Charter Coach in 1993, now American Charter Coach. We operate charter coach, 47 and 56 passenger, local and out of state for schools, family’s, corporations, and all type of groups. We are one of the few coach companies licenced by Sec. of State safe ride office for school children in coach buses #456 002. Also USDOT #1 092 978. Most of our office, and drivers have been with us from 5 to 31 years. Member of United Motor Coach Association.

History

Established in 1981.

1981Airtran-​Ohare started running a non-​scheduled service from the hotels along I-​88 from Lisle, Naperville, & Aurora to Ohare with customize «Comfort Vans» with custom paint design special seating, and name on the outside of the vans! Thithi caught on. I remember 1 trip we had 47 passenger sign on. Then, we started going to the homes! Then, as times changed, the demand was more for the home pick-​up. We changed to a limo company, then again we changed from owning the vehicles to drivers owning their own vehicle. We were able to get more responsible drivers because they had an investment and they stayed with the company longer. this has help us to be a more dependable company with great service to our customers! 1993 we started in the charter bus business! My dad started in the bus business in 1939! I started in the charter bus business early 1960’S, and Dec. 1964 started Gary, Hammond, Ind to Ohare Airport. Later, Dir. of Operations of a Pa transit authority. 1978 gm 125 bus

Father was owner of serveral cab and bus company’s. One of these companies was Peoria Rockford Bus Company. They were the 1^st bus company other than the chicago company, to get permits to operate out of Ohare! It was a big legal battle. with this history, i started Tri-​State Coach Lines, out of Gary, In. Sold it, and 1975 to 1978 was Director of Transit Operations in Harrisburg, Pa. 1978 to 1981 I was General Manager of 125 bus company, Commuter bus, who had contracts with RTA of Chicago, for feeded bus service. 1981 I started Airtran-​Ohare, who operated custom vans to/​from Ohare, later limousines. I now operate Bills Limo Dispatch, Inc.
