Binny’s Beverage Depot

This location is hit or miss on customer service. Some of the staff are courteous and very helpful while others are jerks.
The wine manager could care less in helping you find a wine or even see if it’s available to order.
They do have a very nice selection of everything.

I hate the fact that they hold the great hard to find beer in the back. How are you supposed to know what’s in stock? I understand limits but there has to be a better way. The other liquor store I go to puts one bottle of each on the counter near the check out. You then know what you can ask for if interested.

Decent selection of beers, need to diversify a little bit. Great whiskey /​bourbon selection

This location has typically any liquor you might be looking for! The staff is friendly and will help you if you can’t find what you’re looking for. They serve samples on Saturdays. Prices are pretty decent. Only negative is that the store is crowded.

One stop shopping for all your alcohol needs. Wish they carried a wider variety of icewines. Keep hoping they’ll stock the Iced Sauvignon Blanc from Spy Valley Winery.

Okay seriously if they don’t have your alcohol here, then good luck finding it. I feel the prices are good and the store is laid out nicely! I have always found what I’m looking for here! I got Miraval rose wine from Angelina Jolie and brad Pitts estate in France for thanksgiving and a Baileys gift set for my friends Christmas party! I will definetly be back!

Good beer selection overall, but no Oktoberfest beers at all. Two employees standing around didn’t offer to help. I bought a 12pk anyway since I was there and there cashier just stared at me. The place has no personality. I’ll have to keep going to other places like Binny’s in Naperville or other places.

Great location. Im in between this location and bolingbrooks. Its nice to have one here by some friends. Near white fence farm. on rt59. good staff. Different setup than bbrook. I dig it

This was my first time here and my experience was delightful.
Upon entering, I was immediately offered a taste test which I thought was fun. While testing, I started chatting with another customer and we had fun brainstorming about new drunks we could make with the product.
The store is large but I liked the layout. The shelves are low and the aisles are clearly marked, so you have a really good view of what’s offered and where it is located.
I spent most of my time in the whiskey, rum, and tequila aisles and there were definitely fun new products that I had never seen, in addition to the classics.
All in all, in my opinion this place is solid!

Ah, Binny’s…let me count the ways I love thee! This is the one stop shop for liquor drinkers, beer guzzlers, wine sippers, and cider connoisseurs alike. There is so much variety here, you’re easily lost — in fact we typically spend far more time than expected when we visit!
Unlike other Binny’s, this location doesn’t feel cramped, and it is never… and I mean never… empty. Nearly ever visit, the parking lot is packed. Every employee is more than helpful and we’ve only walked out once without what we looked for — and even that time (the most recent), we received a call alerting us that we could custom order the wine if we wanted!

Love this place! Binny’s has changed me from a beer man to a craft beer man with taste! The selection of craft beers is outstanding! The wine selection is fantastic and their wine manager and sommelier Tim is always spot on with his recommendations.

Everyone’s usually really helpful to guide me to what id like. Last time we sampled some liquor, and the cashier was pretty funny. They usually have most everything I enjoy, but my only complaint is they get three Floyd’s in, and it’s gone in like one day

Nice place to stock up on all your alcohol needs and wants! They have a great selection that was well merchandised. I went in for rum and came out with amaretto vodka and patron XO café liqueur along with my rum.
Prices are competitive and you can join their club to save even more. I saved $ 11.00 that made it totally worth the time to complete the short registration form. You can add your email address for specials and coupons. The staff was friendly and helpful, even offering to carry my order out to my car.

This Binny’s staff is so incredibly rude. Unless you know for a fact that what you want is in stock and need no directions in the store, go somewhere else. I’d gladly pay twice the price to have friendly service.

If there is something you want but can’t find anywhere else then Binnys will have it. Prices on regular items aren’t any better than grocery stores even when on sale (domestic beers).
The other complaint is that this parking lot is such a mess. There is no easy way to get in and out of there quickly.

When you want to buy booze, there is no substitute for Binny’s. Whenever they come to visit, this is the one place my parents make sure they go, because the wine selection is just head and shoulders above anything they can get in Michigan. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. AND they have free wine tastings on Saturdays. There’s nothing negative you can say about the place. Binny’s is the best.

Binnys was able to suggest an obscure beer for my husbands birthday. He was impressed with the beer. WIth the craft beer being on trend right now Binnys is the place to get it, other wise you will be driving all around to the breweries. I also think the prices are fair and better than grocery stores.

If it weren’t for Binny’s, I don’t know where I would buy my liquor in Plainfield! The local grocery stores have their liquor departments quarantined, and it frosts my ass to make 2 purchases in one store. So yay for Binny’s!
The employees are helpful, and I’m greeted (almost) every time. At least every time I can remember except today. And I know I looked like a lost child while cruising the beer aisles for a raspberry cider. An employee looked up from his computer, must’ve determined I wasn’t hot enough to help, and he looked down again.
Without his help I found my Blue Moon, a 6-​pack of Abita and a generic Kahlua. I usually buy wine here when I want to pick up more than just 1 bottle.
I like that the cashiers pack the bottles in the green plastic bottle grippers. Is it weird I noticed how high quality the plastic bags are? They’re thicker than regular grocery bags, and they make great garbage bags!
Binny’s would get a 5^th star if the aisles were wider. I hate feeling torn between smashing my cart into a person, or a display of glass. The parking lot can be a hot mess too.

When I was little I always wanted to go to Toys R Us, as an adult I want to go to Binny’s. It’s like an alcoholic playground. This Binny’s is my go-​to place.
Not to sound «bad» but I usually stop in once a week to check out new beers or to see what’s on sale to stock up my bar. It’s rare I’m not walking out with something alcoholic. The prices are especially good (if you sign up for the free rewards card).
Service though can be spotty. That’s the one downside. So I guess the key is to limit questions to the staff or ask unlimited questions, get a pissy answer and go home and drink it off. Maybe that’s the business plan.
