Bounce U Up

We have had several birthday parties there over the years. The owner is fantastic and the staff is nice. They changed all the bounce houses awhile back and we really liked the old bounce houses and set up better than the current; however, its still a gun place for the kids to play!

This place does not have much to offer, especially for what they charge. My niece and I have been to several different bouncy house places all over the Chicagoland area and this was the first time my niece told me she was bored after only 20 minutes. This was also the first place like this that has a time limit of how long they allow you to stay. We were told that there was a 2 hour time limit. I really dislike paying money for a place and then being told they will be asking you to leave after a certain amount of time. We won’t be back.

We rented a bounce house with a slide for my daughter’s seventh birthday party and it was awesome! The bounce house was delivered on time and it seemed brand new and was very clean. The delivery people asked where I wanted it set up, laid down a nice tarp, and had the house fully set up in about 10 minutes. The compressor seemed new and was very quiet. We had 14 kids come to the party and all of them had a blast. We let about 4 – 5 in at a time and the slide was helpful as they naturally want to keep going down the slide so the kids just keep rotating through. We let them bounce for a good long while before having cake and playing a couple of other games and then we let them back in the bounce house to finish things off.
The Bounce U Up staff was very prompt. They showed up right on time for the pickup and they were very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend.

We did my daughter’s 3^rd birthday party here. It was a mixed bag.
Good: We had a space with 2 jumpy things and a slide that was JUST for our party, as well as use of the party room with tables for our entire party. One of the ladies working our party was wonderful. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name, but she was great. They ordered pizza for us, but let us choose how much. They didn’t charge us for the adults that showed up, only the kids. Overall, it was very smooth.
Bad: One of the ladies was NOT very friendly or helpful. She was actually quite grouchy and almost unpleasant. I assume that it’s technically my fault for not watching the clock, but our party went over the time limit, and didn’t realize it until I was charged for the extra time. Again, I recognize that was probably my own fault, but a warning as our time was ending would have been nice. Hard-​sell on the socks for the adults that weren’t wearing socks (and didn’t plan to play in the jumphouses).
Overall, everything was fine. Nothing was great, but nothing was horrible.

they really need more seating for the adults, the party room is just too far away to keep an eye on your kids.
they should really put more emphasis on adults needing socks in order to stand near the bouncers. the website says adults and children must wear socks, but u assume they mean to play. u need socks even to stand and watch your kids.

We took our 2 year old and she had a blast. We will however be waiting until she is a little bigger before taking her back. There were a couple of times, had one of us not been present, she could have EASILY gotten stuck between one of the internal bounce platforms and the wall without a way of getting out on her own. The bigger kids are very rough and do not pay attention to anybody or anything else that might be in their way. I cannot stress this enough. The younger toddlers can get stuck very very very easily so parents need to stay close.
The facility has a room for birthday parties and a smallish place where there are four large bounce houses. You quickly forget how few bounce houses there are though. Kids seem to have a fantastic time here and quickly dismiss the need for variety or space. Parents seeing to a younger child will most certainly get their exercise as well. Pricing is good and there are usually coupons for extra discounts to be found.
Tips to remember: bring socks as they are required for parents/​kids alike. There are no storage lockers. If you are going on your own and have a toddler you will have to carry your belongings into each bounce house– believe me this is not an easy feat.
All in all– good time to be had by all. Will be returning when our little girl is bigger and can more easily handle the bounce houses a little more freely.

This bounce house place does not have as much variety as other ones in the area. There was a coupon on the Coupon Clipper app which they did not accept and there are other similar places with cheaper prices and better facilities.
