Great food, especially like the ground up sausage (reminds of Pizza King sausage). The hot subs are tasty also, I have tried the Italian and Stromboli and they are a meal in themselves. The pizza by the slice is great option for a quick lunch or cheap dinner. Now that I can also get your food across the street at the taproom, CJ’s is my go to pizza shop!

Deliciousness! Tried for the first time tonight and it was wonderful! Breadsticks are to die for and the salad was fresh, crunchy and yum!
We didn’t get the marinara sauce with the breadsticks, but luckily we had some in our pantry.
They said they would credit our next order of sticks to make up for it.

We recently moved to Plainfield and were told CJs was mighty tasty. So, I called before I left work and picked up a pie with Canadian bacon and banana peppers along with an order of bread sticks. They were ready for me as promised and I got some change back from a 20 $ which was nice. The pizza and sticks were both hot and delicious. We enjoyed the crust and sauce, and they put plenty of toppings. Breadsticks were large and flavorful. All in all, CJs has earned our business based on this experience.

I had C.J.‘s Pizza for my first time based on the fact it had good reviews on here. I got the Chicken Alfredo pizza which is usually what I order from most pizza places because Alfredo sauce to me I’d like an art, anyone with two hands and a brain can make plain pizza sauce but it is somewhat tedious to perfect Alfredo sauce. Take it from someone who is Sicilian and grew up with the food, this sauce is despicable. It taste like cheese instead of sauce. Alfredo is a thick sauce but it still had some fluidity to it which was something this sauce was lacking. Then there’s the crust it tastes much like a plain unsalted pretzel that you would get at the movies. Then the spinach they have on the pizza taste kind of rotten, maybe I got unlucky but who knows.

So if you’re looking for over priced fast food quality food then this is the place, if not look elsewhere.

I had cj’s pizza today for the first time when my uncle brought it over. It was very good and I would recommend to anyone in the plainfield area not wanting a chain pizza. We had a thin crust mushroom and sausage large with breadsticks and wings. The cheese for the breadsticks does have a little kick to it so if you like a little spice you will love the cheese. We got all of this for $ 20. Very good flavor. Try it out!

Picked up a couple of pizzas. they were ok but for the price there are a couple of other places in town that have better pizza. They were super soggy in the middle. I am not sure if was a cooking issue or what.

Just tried this place for the first time tonight. Great pizza! The sauce blends perfectly with the toppings and the ingredients tasted really fresh. The crust was really good too — just the right amount of chewy — almost pretzel like but without the salt. I’ll be a repeat customer.

My co worker and I ordered a lunch snack. We ordered a lunch slice, and a buffalo chicken sandwich (half size) and two side salads. Everything was great! The salads were made with REAL lettuce, NOT BAGGED!!! Cheese on salad was fresh and delicious. We had the ordered delivered, delivery time was next to no wait! I can’t wait to eat here again!
