Dottie’s Art Studio

My friend decided she would host a paint and sip party in her home for her most recent birthday. We were given the choice of 2 different paintings, and both were demonstrated and taught so that not everyone had to make the same picture. There was approximately 15 ladies in our group and of that 15 I am easily the least artistic of the bunch. I chose my picture, and was skeptical about the results I would have.
Dottie did a great job of explaining each step to the group (for 2 different paintings) as we went along. The whole process took 2.5−3 hours. She was patient with my questions (I had lots) and was willing to come over and help me one-​on-​one when I was struggling with a particular step.
I had so much fun painting and sipping wine all afternoon. I am proud to say that my finished painting actually looks like the painting I selected and will get hung up on display somewhere in my house! This party was such a fun, creative way to get the girls together to celebrate and at the end of the day we all had a beautiful painting to take home to help us remember the occasion – definitely worth the $ 35 price tag – and I can’t wait to do this again!

I had my daughter’s 9^th birthday party at Dottie’s, and it was so delightful! Dottie is very patient and kind. She is an amazing teacher and genuinely loves what she does.
I was very happy with the pace of the party, the atmosphere, and the price. I was hoping that the party would be one that my daughter would never forget, and I was not disappointed!

I went to Dottie’s for a family ladies night out. It was the absolute best time! We are not the most creative family, and Dottie made sure we all had individual attention and felt good about how our paintings looked! The music and vibe of the studio was perfect!!! We could have stayed all night, we were having that much fun. We will definitely be going back!

We had a great time at our cork & canvas night. Dottie is very patient and helpful. Can’t wait to go back!
