Rich and Alex were prompt, friendly, understanding, and professional. The water heater was replaced quickly and correctly with no mess afterwards. DRF’s prices and customer service overall were much better than the competition.

Antuan and Javier were very knowledgeable, courteous, and punctual professionals — exactly what we expect to let into our home. While the job we hired them for was rather small and through Home Depot as part of a larger remodel, we couldn’t have asked for better service. The job was done correctly, the first time and on time, working around our schedules. I would definitely give them a strong consideration for future work.

Rich and Anthony came to our home after we had countertops installed. They were very honest and let us know our countertop people did our instalation wrong and recommended we call the countertop people and get it looked at, which we did.
Two days later they came back and installed our new kitchen sink. They were real people and we very honest, which is what we liked. If we needed a plumber again, we would totally go with Rich and Anthony.

Mike P. and DRF were the best to work with on the replacement of my water heater. First they helped me get a new water heater under warranty because the GE model which was 4 years old failed. They were on-​time and very neat. I have a two unit building and Mike reviewed both waterheaters and make corrections leaving everything within city code. They did an outstanding job.

When our 24 year old water heater went belly up at 4:30am, we contacted Home Depot. DRF, Home Depot’s installation partner, responded at 7:00am, we bought our new water heater, and by 3:00pm we were back in business with a shiny new unit. Mike was a consummate professional. He was very friendly and courteous, really knew his stuff, and, with the help of his assistant, completed a very clean installation and carted away the old unit.
DRF was very prompt, courteous and professional… albeit a bit expensive. That said, I’m a happy camper and would recommend DRF to anyone who wants the job done right, right away!

Prompt, friendly, quick. Antuan C. and Alex Z. replaced my ancient water heater and were knowledgeable and no-​nonsense about it all. In an hour and a half, they’d removed the old unit, drained it, made the necessary adjustments to my existing pipes, installed the new one with full instructions and explanations, and hauled away the old unit. High recommendation.

DRF via Home depot did a great job installing a new water heater for us on Sunday evening after our water heater broke on Saturday evening.
I called DRF after another plumber inspected the unit, confirmed it needed to be replaced, but suggested a poor quality water heater, Bradford and white which could not be installed until Monday.
I wish I called DRF to begin with, although the emergency Sunday charge of $ 200 is a bit high and the total bill exceeded $ 2000

Tom R. and Javier were very professional and kept my place clean. As I requested, they wore booties the entire time they worked in my kitchen. Tom took the time to explain to me the basics of how the plumbing worked for my new sink. We are very pleased with their work.

Update: I love DRF’s response to my original review. Yes, they reached out to me, but no, they did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. Instead, I hired Sound Plumbing to install the recirculation pump. Cost $ 450, and the experience with the new company was fantastic. I still don’t understand what DRF did to my plumbing to result in a recirculation pump being required, but at least the problem is now solved.
Again, do yourself a favor and hire a company that actually cares about customer experience AFTER the check clears.
I’ll be sure to update this review again if DRF ever actually proposes a true resolution. In the meantime, save your phony follow up responses, DRF. (BTW, I just had another Unilocal user reach out to me after having the same exact experience. Yikes!)

Our water heater went out and with my husband being bedridden and two toddlers to care for, I was desperate to get it replaced in a hurry. We were their last call of the day and they had to do extra demo work to get the new water heater in. I was so pleased with their customer service – it was the end of the day and they could’ve easily done sloppy work, but it was as if it was their first call. Really, really impressed and grateful.

I identified our hot water heater had failed when getting ready for work, and contacted DRF early that morning. I was provided with a competitive quote for same day service to replace the water heater. Tom R, and Jerry arrived later that afternoon and replaced our hot water heater both safely and efficiently while verifying all all code requirements were met. The work site was left clean and the plumbers were careful when transporting the water heaters in and out of the house. Following installation, the plumbers explained the features and safety functions of the new water heater, described preventive maintenance techniques and answered any questions I had. I was an outstanding experience and I will be using DRF for any future plumbing needs.

Outstanding service from the day we first called for a new hot water heater, right through the appointment, which wrapped up a half hour ago. Mike, the plumber who helped us out, was a straight-​shooter, a gentleman, and a professional, as was his assistant Josh. On time, on budget, delivered as expected, and will be calling DRF for additional help with another project soon.

Rich was our licensed plumber today, with his assistant Jake, and they were absolutely fantastic. Friendly, fast and professional, I couldn’t ask for a better installation experience. The whole installation took approximately an hour and looked fantastic. It was a bit pricey but luckily financing on the Home Depot card made it not too terrible AND with piece of mind knowing the labor warranty was extended for 5 years, I’ll take it! Everything was explained thoroughly after they were finished and I can definitely say if we ever have a plumbing issue we’ll be requesting him! Thanks Rich, Jake and Def, you were all great!

Andy & Kyle came to reinstall my plumbing after a counter top upgrade with another company. They were on time, professional, and very neat & tidy. They were very knowledgeable and courteous. They installed a new garbage disposal and reconfigured my plumbing for the new sink along with connecting my dishwasher and new faucet. They gave me tips on garbage disposal use and I was very grateful.
I would totally recommend them to my friends and family. Great job. Much appreciated.

I was a little put off by the seemingly high price when I scheduled this over the phone (it also seemed like there was some up-​selling going on) but the efficiency and friendliness with which Tom R. and his assistant Tyler installed the new unit (and removed the old one) was impressive and well worth it. They took the time to explain each thing they were doing and walk us through the new install. They also cleaned up around the space the old water heater was in before installing the new one. As a side note, I scheduled this on Thursday afternoon and they were here Saturday morning and done by noon.
Also, if you can get Tom R. specifically, request him.

Tom R and his apprentice, Ryan, came in as part of a contract with another company for a kitchen upgrade. Their duties were to disconnect the sink, dishwasher and garbage disposal. They came in on a rainy day and had shoe covers on before I could even make the request. Both gentlemen were professional and Tom provided some education as well regarding the kitchen drains and what to expect after the kitchen upgrades were completed as DRF will be coming back to reconnect everything.
If I ever have a need to call a plumber directly I will absolutely reach out to DRF! They arrived within the promised time window, sent professional employees, left my home exactly as before they entered and were great to work with.
