In addition to building evaluations, ESS prepares construction specifications and drawings as well as construction management services for capital improvement projects.

History

Established in 2011.

Engineering Support Services (ESS) was founded in 2011 to provide support services to townhome and condominium associations, restaurants, hotels, and engineering firms. ESS saw a great need for better client services within the condominium and townhome association markets within the mid-​western states. To fill this need, ESS expanded its service offering in 2015 and became a Licensed Professional Engineering Firm with the goal of providing exceptional service to new and existing clients within the condominium and townhome association markets. ESS also continues to provide exceptional service to new and existing restaurant and hotel clients nationwide. The mission of ESS is to meet the needs of our clients by accurately accessing their building problems and providing long term innovative solutions. Business Owner

Greg Lason is an Illinois Licensed Professional Engineer with over 13 years of experience working in the condominium and townhome association industry. His expertise include moisture intrusion investigation, roofing and siding evaluations and repairs, sealants, EIFS evaluation and repair, construction management, capital improvement specifications, and balcony evaluation and repair. Mr. Lason joined ESS in February of 2015 as President.
