Little Walt’s Plumbing Inc

This negative review is being written only because we seem to have exhausted all of our good faith efforts to resolve the issue and as a warning to anyone else who is considering contracting with Little Walt’s Plumbing.
Based on all of the other reviews on the internet, we are shocked and very disappointed with Walter. We did not expect the nightmare that working with him has become. He was recommended to us because we needed a new ADA bathroom installed so that we could open our small business. Instead of doing the working he was hired to do, he has taken advantage of and robbed a small mom & pop business and essentially scammed our landlord.
Our landlord was going out of state to visit his newborn granddaughter. Because we were waiting on permits to begin the work, he explained this to Walter and Walter said he would be able to start the work and our landlord could pay him when he returned in one week.
The first red flag surfaced almost immediately but we didn’t recognize it at the time. After the permits were issued, Walter told us that he needed a deposit in order to begin the work. He wouldn’t cash the check but he needed assurances that he would be paid. We were up against a tight deadline and could not risk missing our opening date so we wrote Little Walt’s Plumbing a check for approximately $ 1,500.
Despite being ill, Walter seemed to be trying to help us out and worked quickly and did a great job. We were very pleased with how everything was going. He got the project to the rough inspection stage and then he disappeared. We later learned he had another job lined up and was working on that instead of finishing our job. In the meantime, our landlord had connected with Walter and unknown to us, paid him in full, though the job was not yet complete. (We still need the fixtures installed.)
The work started the week of 9÷16÷13 and as of today, 11÷8÷13, remains incomplete. Walter does not return phone calls or emails and has cashed both our check and that of our landlord.
If Walter refunds our deposit and finishes the job, or refunds both us and our landlord, I will update this review. It is a shame because based on his reputation, we thought we could trust him but we have been badly burned.

Best service you can get from a plumber! Called in the morning and he was out to my job site the same day! Down to earth, honest, and explains everything he is doing and exactly how much things cost. GREAT WORK! I will use this company for all future work! Definitely recommend!
