Our medical team can handle your immediate health needs ranging from broken bones and cuts that need stitches, to high fevers, coughs and infections. We accept most major health insurance plans and no appointment is ever needed. We also offer physicals and immunizations.

Illness — Allergies, Cold, Cough, Flu, Dehydration, Ear and Eye Infections, Hemorrhoids, Migraines, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Rashes, Poison Ivy, STDs, Strep Throat, Urinary Tract and Bladder Infections.

Lab Tests: Blood Glucose, Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs), Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP), Drug Screen, Total Cholesterol, HIV, Rapid Influenza (Flu), Mono, Rapid Strep.

Physical Exams — DCFS Daycare, Pre-​surgical, Immigration, Return to Work, Insurance, School, Pre-​employment, Sports and Camps.

Immunizations — Hepatitis B, Influenza (Flu), Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR), Pneumonia, Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (Tdap/DTap)-adult/pediatric, Varicella (Chickenpox).

Physical Therapy (at some locations) — Our Physical Therapy team uses an attentive, one-​on-​one approach with a focus on fast recovery.

Physicians Immediate Care, also known as Physicians Urgent Care, was founded in early 1987 under the leadership of John J. Koehler, M.D., in Rockford, Ill. Today the company is led by Stan Blaylock, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Dr. Koehler, Founder & Chief Medical Officer. For more than 25 years, we’ve been dedicated to bringing affordable and convenient health care to the communities that we serve.
