History
Established in 1999.
Located in Plainfield, IL, Plainfield Veterinary Clinic has provided state-of-the-art veterinary medical, surgical, and dental care to pets since 1999.
We offer veterinary care for dogs and cats and many exotic pet species, including birds, ferrets, rabbits, repitles and small mammals. At Plainfield Veterinary Clinic, we know how much your pet means to you. We treat each pet as if it were our own.
Meet the Business Owner
Dr. Paul B.
Business Owner
Dr. Paul Peter Blaso received his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at
Stony Brook in May of 1995. He completed his doctorate at Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2000.
Shortly after graduating, Dr. Blaso accepted a position as an associate at the Animal Care Center of Plainfield where he
continued to work for about a year before relocating to the Plainfield Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Blaso has been practicing at
Plainfield Veterinary Clinic since 2000 and is now part owner. Dr. Blaso enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine.
His primary interest is surgery, particularly orthopedic surgery (total hip replacements, ACL repairs, patella luxations and
fracture repairs, etc). He has been happily married since 1997 to his wife Delia. They have 2 children.
Dr. Blaso’s interests include watching lots of football (NY Giants), bowling, skiing,
and playing ice hockey.
