The food is great but is way over priced not to mention the fact that across the street there’s an even cheaper fried chicken place with chicken just as good. It’s also way too busy all the time and the employees often rush you to leave for other people. The only thing this restaurant has going for it is the food and employees. The menu is really long but most of the choices are too expensive and similar to other menu items so there is not variety to the amount of things you can order. They also take an extremely long time making the food and a lot of times they run out of fried chicken which is literally what this restaurant is known for selling. I would recommend this place to people who have patience and are having takeout rather than eating there.

Their fried chickens is really the only ones that I can eat as KFC makes me very sick.
Love the chicken, Crispy and fresh tasting. I also love the salsa bar as you can add things to the chicken in a way that I want it.
The horchata was very sweet tasting, but enjoying on one of those hot days :3.

It’s good for what it is. I feel like there is value here but I have been disappointed as I tend to get grilled chicken and they have «run out» of it. All you sell is chicken how can you run out of it?
If you are in a pinch, want something quick with a Hispanic twist to it this is your place though. They have the rice, beans, rice and beans, corn tortilla’s and all the other fixings.
Only reason I keep coming back is that I actually do enjoy the quality of the grilled chicken and value when I can get it!

My friend took me here and man I was blown away. The flavor in the chicken is outstanding. Every piece is juicy and tender. The rice and seasoned beans on the side were very good. I went with a group so we also ordered grilled chicken and fries. The grilled chicken is a touch drier, but is very good. The french fries are addicting to say the least. Excellent food. it is a fast food type chain, but don’t let that stop you.

If you want something that you crave for like KFC, but need a change of flavor… find something else, but don’t come here. It’s not run down or awful, but the chicken really lacks. The best thing I can say I appreciated was the Yucca fries, with one if their sauces. Last but not least smartphoning the address might put you in the wrong spot. Save yourself the trouble of getting lost if you still want to try this place by driving to the corner of East Front Street and Roosevelt. Maybe it’s gotten better since I began this review in 2011 and failed to complete it because I’m lazy.

Above average fast food fried chicken. Juicy, with a crisp though lackluster crust. Some heat and Latin flavor does comes from the fresh tasting salsa bar selections. Bland black rice and beans, OK yucca fries and plantains.
