I love this salon. The staff is super friendly and inviting and the atmosphere is cool and fun. Jen Fornash is a hair genius! My daughter has done everything under the sun to her hair leaving it a complete mess, but Jen was able to transform her hair completely. She spent HOURS doing corrective color, a cut and conditioning and my daughter was thrilled! Her hair looks gorgeous. Not to mention that I have been going to Jen for several months now and I have never been disappointed. She is fantastic.

I love 10 Hair and Nails! Everyone is so kind and friendly and it feels like a luxury hair salon while still having a cozy feel to it.
I especially love getting my hair done by Kelsey!!! I always feel like a million bucks every time I step out of the salon. Kelsey specializes in blondes which is great for me because I’m a blonde and super picky about my hair. She always does a fantastic job with my highlights and root touch ups as well as cutting and styling my hair. On top of that she is super sweet and fun to talk to. I always look forward to our chats when I go in to get my hair done. I highly recommend 10 hair and nails and Kelsey for all your hair needs!

I must say my experience was completely different than Caroline. Andrea did a wonderful job on my hair and my boyfriends hair. She was respectful, attentive to our requests, and was friendly throughout the appointments. I left feeling beautiful. She took great care to ensure I was satisfied with my cut. She even completed the cut and asked me to check if it was the right length. I decided I wanted it a bit shorter and she happily changed the length. It came out exactly the way I wanted. Everyone has bad days. Sometimes we don’t get what we asked for; however, I was so pleased with my cut from Andrea that I thought it important to balance the scale.

I booked a hair cut and style for the morning of my wedding shower. Andrea was very nice and the cut was fine, but I left looking terrible. She wanted to straighten my hair (very curly and long) even though I told her she didn’t have to. I don’t know if she was just rushing or if she didn’t know how to handle my hair, but I left with huge, frizzy hair that was still damp in places.
While I was paying, the woman at the desk was horribly rude. She called me chewbacca and told me my parents screwed me with those genes. Needless to say, on a day that I just wanted to look nice and feel special, I left feeling ugly and disgusting. I cried the whole way home and then had to redo my hair before my shower. I will absolutely never be going back.
Update: the owners of the salon reached out and offered to try to make it up to me. I declined, as I did not feel right taking down the review, but I appreciated the effort and thought it was worth mentioning.

Salon is clean and staff are always very nice! Cherie is wonderful. Great cut and color. She really listens to what you want to do with your hair and I’m always happy when I leave. Go see Cherie!!!

This review is also for Jen Fornash! I got one of the BEST makeover hair do’s evah! The whole do is just awesome… color, highlights & cut. She customized her technique to accommodate me, which is more than I can say for a multitude of other salons I’ve been to. She’s personable with out being too much. Very professional salon. They have a cute little waiting area completely out of the main stream of things, which I find really nice, with tv, coffee, water etc. if you’re looking for a hair stylist I believe anyone would love her!
I’m just so happy with her and her abilities.
I’m even more happy with the way my hair looks and feels.

I have not had great experiences with local salons. But I have had three visits to 10 Hair & Nails and have had exemplary visits each time.

Love this place, they are so friendly, they do a great job and they are reasonably priced, Kelsy and Katie are awesome!

Ok this is my experience. My normal hair stylist was not available so I went to her friend Cherie who works at 10 hair. It’s a little bit out of the way for me coming in from Pawtucket RI South Attleboro line but it was worth it.

Btw…these women are all hot. Guys get away from the speed cuts pay the extra $ 5 and get a real stylist… cha ching

Yes yes yes! Faith is so awesome. I was going for cheap cuts after my favorite Boston stylist jumped up in price. Faith really redeemed my hair and gave me a great cut with lots of bounce. Best yet, it was only $ 35 for super long hair. Prices vary as there are different stylists who rent but they all seem reasonable.
One reviewer did say it was like a high style Boston salon so I was underwhelmed by it but it was clean and nice which I prefer any day. It was a little busy with product, art, and jewelry but that doesn’t bug me much. They also have a tv which two guys were watching in the waiting room with sports. Great way to keep them occupied right?!

I had a great experience. It was my first time and I was just looking for a change and something different, so I came to Unilocal and this is how I found 10 Hair & Nails. Kelsey was my hairdresser (so sweet). I was relaxed and enjoyed my time there, rather than thinking what time it is. I sat in the lounge while my color was in watching tv and having a glass of wine on the sofa. I felt like I was at my girlfriends house. It was wonderful, especially for a busy mom working full time and a 3 yearold boy at home. It was heavan! My hair came out so beautiful — the color and cut. I was pleasantly surprised as well b/​c there was a promo for hair and cut, so it was $ 15 less of the regular price. I highly recommend it.

I’ve been going to Tracy for about 7 years. I have followed her from two salons and I’m so excited that she has finally opened up her own place! The salon is both beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The waiting area is very comfortable. There is a TV and she offers refreshments. There are beautiful hand painted murals throughout the salon, full length mirrors, and dark hardwood floors. The design is very fresh and modern. She researched and selected the perfect wall color that reflects your true hair color. Her sinks are comfortable. The sink moves to your neck and there is even a footrest built into the chair. Her pedicure chair is 100% sanitary. Each client gets a new plastic liner. As a germaphobe, most pedicure gross me out! With the liners, I have total peace of mind! Paulette gave me the best pedicure ever! Tracy even tried to buy American made products as possible, which is really admirable. Tracy is an amazing hairdresser. She is a local business owner that takes pride in ensuring that her clients have the best possible salon experience. I highly recommend 10 Hair and Nails.

I have been going to Tracy for about 5 years now. I followed her to her new salon, 10 Hair & Nails. She’s incredibly talented and does a great job with my hair (as well as my wife’s). The new salon is very, very nice– classy and cool. It has a really nice waiting area and all top-​notch features. She’s very knowledgeable, very personable, and between the cool salon and her great personality, I look forward to my haircuts every couple of weeks. All of the other girls are great too. Awesome salon! Tracy and her staff have hit the bullseye with this new modern and elegant salon in little olé’ Plainville, MA. The salon is right on route one and inside it feels like you’ve stepped into a hip and trendy NY City salon. Ask for a cold glass of vino, sit back and let the stress go while becoming even more beautiful with the help of everyone at 10! Why be a 9? Everyone wants to be a 10!

At 10 they consistently have products that they donate $ to local animal shelters or to the City of Hope for Cancer cure. Pravana educator on staff.
