located right off yosemite. slow down or you’ll blow right by it. burritos are huge. got the al pastor. everything in it tasted pretty good, except for the meat, unfortunately. it was cut into very small pieces and cooked so much that it was crunchy and had little taste. i’ve never had al pastor like that. didn’t like it.

Ramon’s Tacos, best «Taco Truck» around Merced County. So if you’re headed up the hill to Yosemite stop by. They have great Burritos, Tacos and Tortas.

This was a perfect little stop on the way out of Yosemite. The staff and locals were super friendly and the food, of course, was amazing. We asked for 2 tacos each and just had whatever they recommended. We got beef tacos with the lot and they were great. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, great people. They take care of you and treat you right. The burrito is ludicrously HUGE. Good stuff.

If your looking for the best tacos in the merced area take the drive to Ramon tacos. These tacos are delicious full of flavor.

I don’t expect you to be reading this. In fact, I don’t expect you to be out here at all. But, if you do find yourself in this neck of the agricultural center of California, don’t miss stopping at this amazing taco truck.

I love tacos so I’m always looking for a taco truck to try. This taco truck has been here for years! The owner is very nice, service is very fast and you can also place the order by phone to pick it up. Meat can be kind of plain at times but other than that one of the few good tacos trucks in the valley

Holy crap! I’m so happy I encountered this food truck. It was by accident. My friends and I were on our way to Yosemite and had to take a bathroom break. There was a food truck that was selling tacos. I was a little skeptical to get a taco, but I didn’t want to make an assumption that their tacos sucked.
I got the al pastor taco at the price of 1.50 each. They give you a good portion of meat, Caramelized onions, lemon, and a slice of avocado! It also came with a delicious green sauce. I got it and ended up just eating it in the car. I took one bite and it was amazing! It had a crunchy texture and was full of flavor. I wished I got like 2 more tacos and a burrito! I wanted to go back, but we were on a tight time schedule D; my friends got some tacos too and wished they had gotten a burrito! I wish this food truck existed in SoCal! I looked online and it seems to only be located in Merced. I definitely will come back for tacos when I visit Yosemite again!

Definitely some of the best tacos, burritos, and quesadillas in the Planet (Planada). Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu from the lengua or cabeza to the more traditional carne asada or al pastor. Also, there side of grilled jalapeños and onions are delicious (must ask for them). Absolutely recommend this if you live here, are just passing by, and/​or a quick visit to a nice and friendly community. Well worth the trip.

These are hands down the best tacos anywhere on the planet or in the Planet for that matter. I remember when Ramon made tacos at the Tres Palmas in the early 80’s and he has only gotten better with time. Open until about 1030 all summer. This place is Kanaka approved!!! ONOLICIOUS

ask for a side of jalapenos and get them handed to you personally by the chef in the truck with a smile on their face. definitely worth the stop

Stopped by here many times when passing through Planada. Very good tacos and burritos.

Poor English. Giant burritos. The Supreme could feed a small elephant twice. Ask for avocado for a potassium boost.
