Momina helped us find the couch and she did such a wonderful job at suggesting different couches in our price rage! Lauren is the one who cashed us out, she was very sweet and professional. Gail on the other hand was so rude and very disrespectful, When Lauren asked for Gail’s assistance Gail rolled her eyes stood behind her with her arms crossed as if she was annoyed with helping her. So glad we we worked with Momina and Lauren and not Gail!

Bought furniture and within a year it’s already broken down. Talk about cheap quality. Boards coming through the back, frame breaking… when you spend a this kind of money on furniture you expect it to at least last a couple of years!!!

Poor customer service, they are liars! Unkept promises… Delivery took nearly three weeks!

Worst customer service ever, they dont know their job, the accounting team are totally incompetent and their sales people are very pushy, they stick with you like glue when you walk in to store, really annoying and they try to push you buying more furnitures /​bigger quantity in order to get higher commission, terrible store, I will never ever deal with them, I do not recommend it.

Went to Ashley Furniture today, had visited in the past and knew what I wanted but didn’t make any purchases. Today I was suppose to take my mother «window shopping» and she actually purchased a complete living room set and dining room table and chairs. We had the friendliest associate named Drew C. helping us, not only was he nice, he was also patient assisting my indecisive mother for 3.5 hrs who changed her mind multiple times after he placed her order. Never once did he seem bothered, or give the impression that we were taking up too much of his time! Thank you Drew… your customer service was truly appreciated!

I came in looking for a new coffee table and walked out with a coffee table and side tables! Tony was so helpful and when he saw me searching competitors’ prices, he said they would match those prices. He was extremely helpful and I’m glad I was able to buy from here than having to drive 45 minutes up the road.

Sales Person promised two weeks and even checked the computer to make sure the items were available for a two week delivery. I had planned for friends to be in town and to use the sleeper couch I bought through Ashley Furniture. Looks like I’ll have to get them a hotel room and not have them over since I will not have any furniture. Looks like this is typical of them, so hope everyone else plans accordingly.

My sales rep, Ruben Barrera, was great. I am a sales guy so I understand the game. He was funny, genuine, and put my interests first. I strongly believe in being client focused. When that is the mentality, everything else comes into place. Happy with my purchases but happier with the customer experience. Highly recommend going to see Ruben!

Never buy anything from Ashleigh Furniture. It’s all junk… absolute complete and total junk. I bought four dining room chairs from Ashleigh Furniture in early November. They were finally ready for pickup from Ashleigh’s distribution center in Grand Prairie two weeks later.
Of the first two chairs I tried to assemble, the back of one immediately splintered when I screwed in one of the bolts. The second was missing its bag of screws so I wasn’t able to put it together. I was so frustrated that I didn’t even open the second box.
When I called Ashleigh they shipped me a replacement part despite my wanting to get a refund. That part finally arrived three weeks later and I was able to put the first chair together. However, I was still missing screws for the second chair and couldn’t put it together.
I opened the second box of two chairs and started to put them together. On the third chair, two of the four legs splintered when I tried to insert the screws. The parts don’t fit together perfectly so the wood splinters when you tighten up the screws. It was the same problem I had with my first chair.
I didn’t even attempt to assemble the fourth chair. Net result… some 10 weeks after spending more than $ 250 on four new dining room chairs, I have exactly one fully assembled chair and two more that I can’t put together because they are either broken or missing parts.
Seriously…I’ve bought better quality from a low-​end «junk furniture» store before. This stuff is just horrible.
I’m going to call Ashleigh furniture back in the morning and demand a refund. If they give me any crap I’ll just turn it over a lawyer. The company where I work just started offering a legal support plan as part of our employee benefits package. If Ashleigh doesn’t cooperate than I may be the first person to use it.

The furnitures are made with horrible quality and sales people are bunch of liars. The leather on my expensive couch is falling apart after just couple of years. But, it’s ok because they sold me on the extended warranty because it would cover just about everything. NOPE! Nothing is covered. Extended warranty is a scam they sell making you think you will have peace of mind. but, in reality, it just screws you into spending couple hundred dollars extra without actually providing anything. I told myself I will never shop with Ashley furniture again when I went through some terrible buying experience with delivery people shady sales people (long story) when I bought the furnitures. Who would have though that they will come back and screw me once again?
I hope this company crashes and burns to the ground.

i bought a coffee table about a year ago and now I keep getting text messages from Ashley sales people to come in and buy more stuff. I never told them that they could call or text me. I’m trying to get them to stop. Called a manager at the Plano store and he said he would take care of it… IT HAS NOT STOPPED!

We originally purchased a sofa that is made with the Durablend fabric. This was on a Saturday. The following Monday I started reading on-​line about a number of customers reporting issues with this product within the first year, which led me to regret our choice. The store has a 24 hour cancellation policy, which we were well past, but we went back to see what our options might be. We spoke with Arlon, the assist manager, who was incredibly gracious. With no push back he agreed to refund 100%, and to let us choose something else if we desired to do so. We had made our original purchase during a 24% off sale, which was now over. He agreed to let us purchase at the sale price anyway. They were under no obligation to do any of this for us. We found something that we liked even more than our original selection, and left very happy customers.
It was clear that the foremost objective of the manager and of the store was customer satisfaction. As a result, we will go back and buy from them again.

Ashley Furniture gave me a credit for the defective recliner after I posted on Facebook and I bought a new leather recliner that closely matched my set. So far, the leather recliner is very nice and appears to be high quality. Ashley did respond very quickly after my post on Facebook and I’m very satisfied.

My families experience at Ashley was not good. My parents went to Ashley to buy a sofa and two reclining chairs. The sales team was very nice and helped my parents get what they wanted. The furniture took 2 weeks to be delivered. After the furniture was delivered the problems started about a week later.
The two recliners started to squeak when you rock in them. I called Ashley and they sent out a repair man a week later. He oiled the wood under the recliners and told me that it was due to atmospheric conditions. Several days after he left it started to make noise again. I called them back and asked them to take the chair back and get us new chairs. They told me that they had a NO RETURN policy and that includes if the furniture breaks. They offered to send out the repair man again and I said yes. I also told them that the arms on the sofa are not padded and my dad hit is head on the sofa when he tried to lay down on it. The repair man came out again a week later and looked at the chairs. He told us he would report back to upper management to have the under carriage rebuilt in our home. He also stuffed the sofa with more padding and told us we would have to do it every couple of years. I told him I was not satisfied and wanted the furniture to be picked up. He said no returns. He said we can get it rebuilt or live with the problems.
After he left I called customer service and they told me no returns no what so ever. I then called the credit card company. I told them of the situation and they pulled the money from Ashley and put it in a dispute status. I also called the store manager and told them of the situation. After two weeks of going back and forth with the store, upper management and filing a BBB claim Ashley agreed to return the furniture and credit my parents credit card.
I personally will not be shopping at Ashley again or would suggest the store to friends and family. The no-​return policy should be a red flag to any consumer and in my option is bad customer service. I am happy for the out come of my situation but I had to work hard to get the return and refund.

After doing research on the internet for types of end tables and lamps that I wanted, I went in to Ashley’s yesterday. I in the door before they actually opened — hey, is was open! I wandered around for a while and then Janice came up to me and asked if she could help. I told her what I was looking for and she immediately looked it up on their computer and showed me where it was in the store.
Then my friend arrived and I told Janice that we just wanted to look for a while. She was fine with that. We walked that entire store! Janice must have been watching us from a distance, because whenever I found something I liked or we stopped to discuss a piece, she was just kind of there. Never pushy, just checking on us and answering any questions.
Janice told us about their protection plan — which is awesome! But again, never pushy.
I walked out of there with 2 lamps, 2 tables and a picture. We took the lamp and picture with us. For the items you take with you, they will bargain a bit — don’t be afraid to ask.
I knocked off a star because they do not take returns at all and they sell all their table lamps in sets of 2 — no exceptions. My friend liked the lamp as well as I did so we each took one.
But overall, I was very pleased. Ask for Janice!

I went here to find a recliner. Sales Lady approached me, I told her what I was looking for and pointed me in the direction… Now, first things first… it was slow and sales people were just relaxing on the sofas screwing around on their phones… not a good appearance. When I made a decision I went to find the sales lady. I found her (it appeared she was talking to friends I think) and lead her to the chair I wanted. I asked about if I can pick up there or if it has to be delivered… She said delivery only and I asked if there was a fee involved… Here is where it gets strange– Right after I asked her, she told me the fee and then asked me for my name and # and that she will call me if they have a sale on a Saturday… First off, I didn’t ask about a sale and I didn’t even attempt to negotiate on the delivery… she just lead me away to get my info and send me on my way! I had $ 500 in my pocket ready to spend! She didn’t even try to sell me… I took that as an insult and left a bit confused. Oh well, I’ll just go to another store… I have been in sales for 10 years now (includes selling cars for a few) and I have never had this happen before.

Never again! Here’s my story: From the time we walked in the store to the time we walked out, it took 3 hours, and we already knew what couch we wanted to purchase in the beginning. They were super slow, even though it wasn’t busy inside, because they want to talk to you forever and make you feel like you were getting such a great deal while throwing in «free» services. We didn’t want to open a new credit card to purchase the couch, so the guy who runs their loan department talked to us, and his breath reeked of alcohol. The in-​store experience was the least of our worries because we were just glad to get out of there and have a new couch purchased. It wasn’t going to stop us from purchasing from Ashley again, just annoying. However, the delivery and customer service experience is why we will NEVER buy from Ashley again. When we had our couch delivered, the delivery guys caused damage to our walls, stair railing, and our condo building. The space to go upstairs is a tight fit, but the guys didn’t take the legs off of the couch first so they tore up everything. A second set of delivery guys had to come take the legs off and get it upstairs, but this was after 8 hours of waiting. Once they got the couch upstairs and unwrapped, we saw 6 – 7 holes on it from the first movers forcing it. Speaking of the first movers, one of them was not paying attention in our place, not even moving furniture, and he walked backwards and knocked over our leather Z Gallerie bed frame was standing up causing some of the leather to rip off. The bed frame was well out of his way and in our bedroom, he was just walking aimlessly! Three weeks later (yes, it took 3 weeks and it was 3 full weeks of me calling EVERY day to check on the status of my in-​home damage report because I never heard from them) we had a repair guy come out and movers to bring a new couch to repair the torn up one. The repair guy touched up the work, but the paintbrush streaks still show on the wall from new paint he didn’t blend in, and the railing color he used doesn’t match the rest of it. No, they don’t repair the entire space, just the damaged areas, which doesn’t work nor look right. Also, a chunk of sheet rock was knocked out of our wall and while he covered most of it up, it’s still very noticeable because of its location. He touched up my leather bed frame but you can still see a hole from where it ripped. This is all a major problem when you are a renter who put down a $ 1400 deposit to the owner. The owner hasn’t seen any of this, and while nothing looks terrible, it’s noticeable and different than the owner left it. So, I can’t imagine I’ll be getting my full $ 1400 back at the end of my lease, and Ashley won’t do anything about it. A few tips to know… their delivery customer service department is awful if you have any problems. Also, their repair guy is a contractor who does mediocre work so don’t expect a perfect repair if something gets damaged. I can’t explain to you the dozens of phone calls, stress, and staying on top of this issue it took just to get basic repairs done and cut my losses before it got any worse. It’s sickening!
