What a great office and staff dr Bazan has attached to the Sams club right off of spring creek and hwy 75 this was my first visit to an optometrist in my life. Dr Bazan has a way of putting the client at ease and took the time to explain why he was doing each test and what he was looking for. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a new optometrist

My brother went to this eye doctor and he was rude, arrogant and mistreated my brother and asked him to leave the place and didn’t give him the results of his eyes’ exam. Bro has initiated a lawsuit against this quasi doctor. Zero stars to him but I can’t click zero so I did one.

Dr Bazan is really incredible, and he has corrected prescriptions that actual ophthamologists have prescribed that were completely incorrect. I believe he is extremely good at what he does – I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

After coming off CRT therapy, I conveyed to Dr BAzan that I wanted to looking into Lasik mid year. He said that he could help me with it. And because my eyes would take a bit to settle, then he woudl have to charge me more up front in order to adjust the lenses (contact). After 3 visits, he gave me a presciption. After a week, I was not comfortable in them and my vision digressed even more. I made an appointment and found that, indeed, there needed to be a change. I was also told in that session that my cornea was warped and would take some time to heal. (Why was I not told this in the first visits). Could that be he is not as thorough or did not want to hurt my feelings.
Anyways, after trying Mono-​vision, I asked that I get the prescribed lenses and not the trick to correct for near sightnesses, as well. Especially since my eyes did not seem to react favorably to that for the last month. So he complied with the the warning that I woudl need reading glasses to keep eyes from tiring. No problem. Once we got that straight, I waited for my new prescription but he lingered with more paperwork which was a bill for the visit. I asked what the additional costs were. Hesitantly, his Asst said it was because of teh extra visit. When th doctor was asked he got real defensive adn said that he went above adn beyond what he was mandated to do. Good customer service. I think NOT!!! Espcially since I paid for the additional visits up front and was under impression that this woudl be covered, also. I certainly was not told of the extra costs before the visit or when I made the appt. I insisted on some explanation as to how I was to made to belive that he went above adn beyond his «duty». Isn’t his job to help his patients see the best possible via the best available technology?
I did not raise my voice as I only wanted a fair explanation adn felt they failed to tell me why I having to pay more money. Dr Bazan then said that because of his condition, he wodl no longer talk with me and that he woudl not release my prescription unless I pay. His asst already had my CC in hand. If this is any indication of his idea of customer relations or service then it will really hurt the customer service branding associated with Sam’s club even though he is not directly associated with Sams but he does rent their space.
TAKEAWAY: You get what you pay for! That is more a constant than the ideal strive for offering superior customer service. Funny, I noticed that he had two plaques frmo two schools or seminars for «How to give Legendary Customer Service»… maybe there needs to be a refresher course.
I am not very happy with the treatment of Dr Bazan’s office. I’m sure you can tell.

Have used Dr. B for 6 years. Incredible eye doctor.
I will never go to anyone else. All my kids will see him.

This is located inside the Sam’s Club so you’d have to be a member to be a patient I’d think. I’ve been going here for about 4 – 5 years and I really like himm. I’ve never, ever felt rushed at one visit. He is very knowledgable and he could talk about the eyes forever and you can feel that he really loves and enjoys what he does. He has a way of not over-​explaing things and says it how you can understand it. The prices are very fair and was even less expesive than my out of pocket through vision insurance, so I dropped it. He saw some strange reading in my husbands eyes right away and suspected glaucome and referred him out right away. I was an over user of contact lenses and he fixed me up right away. Highly recommeded and you can make appointments or stop in by chance to see if he’s free Tue-​Sat!

I have known Frank for several years. You won’t find better service in the industry. Twice he has shipped me temp lenses in remote situations and saved me.

My eyeglass prescription barely changed in the past decade and hadn’t changed at all in 7 years, or so I thought. As it turns out I’m just as nearsighted as I ever was but I have a wee bit more astigmatism in each eye.
I didn’t think much of an eye doctor at a Sam’s Club but not only was this exam a mere $ 54 but Dr. Bazan went through all the protocol and procedures to make sure I’d have the best vision correction possible. He went through all the standard stuff including the «1 or 2» test and the «look a little to your right while I shine this piercingly bright light in your left eye to check your optic nerve and maybe your frontal lobe» test.
Very courteous and attentive to detail, even with little things like handwashing before each patient. Walk-​ins are welcome but it won’t hurt to set an appointment.
