This place was busy on a Tuesday night; a good sign. We were not disappointed. There’s a reason brisket enchiladas are the most popular item on the menu. Service was great and the food even better. We will be back to eat on the patio.

This was really good Tex-mex! My husband and I loved the nachos and the happy hour margaritas were wonderful! The top shelf margarita is awesome! I found my new hang out!

Very nice cozy neighborhood restaurant. I had the brisket enchiladas, recomended by Luis. One would not expect to have mashed potatoes in an enchilada but they were great. Luis made dining fun and was the best waiter i have encountered lately. I will come again soon.

We may have be regulars to this place! I loved it! The restaurant ambience is really nice. The service is super and really great food. We started of with guacamole and chips. The guacamole is fresh and wonderful. Our waiter was friendly and fun to talk to. I can’t say enough about the service. We tried a spinach tamale. I love spinach but I was sceptical and it turned out to be one of the best things ever. The spinach is in the masa instead of in the center like your usual tamale filling and there was this tasty sauce on it. I will order one of those every time I go. YUM! The chicken mole was really flavorful. I enjoyed it. This was my first mole. It’s really smokey rich and fantastic with beans and rice. We also ordered the brisket enchiladas. Good stuff! This dish is different and worth ordering if you love meat n potatoes. ;) The pablano sauce is on the bottom under potato filled tortillas smothered in a brisket stew. SOGOOD! There are tons of mexican places in Plano. For me, this one stands out and is really enjoyable.

This place was pretty delicious. The offerings were interesting and not what you’d typically see at a tex-mex place. I wasn’t impressed with the margaritas, but I would return for the entrees.

The food here is consistently good local mexican fare and we love coming here. The staff are always incredibly friendly and great with kids. Prices are entirely fair. Weekend brunch is the standout — the casa casarole is perfect.

I have been here once and will definitely be back! We came around 11:30am for brunch. They have great patio seating, but it was a little too windy and cold at the time I went, so I didn’t get the patio experience. Nevertheless, seating was very quick. Chips and salsa were tasty and I couldn’t stop eating them, so I ended up taking most of my food home. I ordered some potato, egg, skillet dish and it was delicious! If you imbibe, they have $ 3.50 margaritas during brunch hours which I highly recommend. There are a variety of really cool flavors — I got a watermelon and a mango and both were nicely flavored, not overly sweet, and potent enough that 2 had me very nicely buzzed. The only reason I knocked off 1 star was because service was really slow. We wanted to stay and talk for a while so it was no problem, but if you were looking to get in and out, you wouldn’t have been happy. However, our server did address it and apologized profusely for the delay. Speaking of the server, another plus is that he was a cute and flirty gentleman… I’m married, but a girl does like to feel admired by a stranger from time to time… I digress. Try this place sometime, you won’t be disappointed.

Truly egalitarian Texas Mexican cuisine at it perfect price point for ambiance, service and the friendly grin that adores this eatery to hundreds. Worth a visit on your rat race drive up Preston. Order to Go, Have a succulent story waiting for you on arrival. Mucho Gusto Nuestros Amigos. Mama’s is a gem for a peek for the curious. Let the scent inspire your palette. Or just hit Taco bell for that Oregon legalized munch call. If they ever civilize and legalize here. Now you know good eats bon appetite!

This is pretty much our go to place for Mexican, so we were disappointed and shocked that they closed at 3pm for the Super Bowl! Called up Frankie ‘s in Sachse who has the same menu. They were happy to take our order and our money! Bad decision Mgmt.

Great service and atmosphere. Chips and salsa are awesome. Brisket quesadilla was out of this world. Chile relleno and mole chicken were great. Best of all was the coconut flan. Was seriously one of the best flan desserts I’ve had of all time.

This was my third visit and I love this place. The atmosphere on the patio is very relaxing and the food is delicious. I love the free tostada they bring each guest and the attentiveness of the staff. Today, I had the sour cream enchiladas and my girl had the tortilla soup both were tasty. The queso was a bit on the salty side today which is the only reason I’m not giving five stars. Great value and prices, I will definitely be back! It’s worth the drive.

Wonderful service by people who care about the food and drinks they serve. I suggest their patio outside. Very relaxing with great food. We really enjoyed the fajita tacos and they took special care to put anything that might be spicy on the side for our 3 year old daughter. She loved the queso, rice and quesadillas. It was a nice surprise from a strip mall restaurant. We will be back for sure.

After only two visits, we have decided that Casa Mama’s is the only place we will go to for Mexican Food! The flavors of each dish are unbelievable! The menu has some typical Tex-Mex dishes as well as other items you wouldn’t expect like stuffed chicken breast, which my husband ate every last bite! We ate dinner on the patio with friends one evening and everyone enjoyed their food. The Margaritas with Watermelon were powerful and delicious! On our second visit, my husband and I went on a Saturday for lunch. The menu had both lunch and brunch, so we took a chance and ordered off the brunch menu. I am so glad we did! The dishes were AMAZING! So fresh and each bite just had us wanting more! We took home dessert — because there was so much food from brunch — and we weren’t disappointed. The coconut flan was soon good and hubby enjoyed the sapodilla triangles and honey. We highly recommend Casa Mama for your lunch, brunch and dinner. Try something out of the ordinary — you will LOVE it!

Great place for Sunday brunch. Insanely cheap prices and a shady patio. Good food and tart, strong margaritas.

after leaving church… we were starving… so we decided to find a spot in the area… the GPS literally took us in a circle when it was up the street LOL N-E-WHO…walked in and were seated right away… chips and salsa on deck… BAM! LOL… our waiter brought us some waters and then took our drink order and gave us time to look over the menu. my wife ordered the huevos con chorizo y papas and i ordered the eggs benedict… while waiting for our food… i went through 2 bowls of the salsa… and didn’t even really realize it… it was that dayum good lol our food was prepared in no time and brought out nice and hot. my wife loved her dish… it was a very nice portion and the price isn’t outrageous. now my eggs benedict was on point… nice flavor and the hollandaise sauce actually had a little kick to it… SCORE! we cleaned our plates and the waiter asked if we saved room for dessert LOL… NOT! nice spot… great service and very good food… we shall be back
