This is your typical Chuck E Cheese with one bad exception, the staff seems to think their jobs are lame and not worth doing. Examples: — the employee that plays the Chuck E Cheese character was barely moving during the dance sequence. — The girl that asks the group to yell for Chuck E was practically rolling her eyes over it and couldn’t have been less enthusiastic if she tried. — The guy wiping down tables would clean a table, real slow, then hang out for a few minutes before moving to the next table. — The same unenthusiastic girl that made the dancing with Chuck E look like torture was just as happy to take her sweet time helping at the prize counter, she walked over with the most annoyed look on her face(shouldn’t I be the one annoyed for waiting as my 3 year old loses patience?) Other then the staff that seem to be working their against their will, the place was clean and the pizza was good.

I hadnt been here since I was maybe 8 years old. My friend and I brought her 5 year old son to run around. To my surprise they serve beer and wine here! Definitely makes it easier for the adults to relax. They have power cards similar to Dave and Busters so the kids dont have to run around with tokens or cash. There are power card filling stations or people that walk around and can reload the card. There was someone posted at the door to make sure little ones didnt run out. I also really liked that there were cameras everywhere. It made the place seem a little more safe and secure. I would definitely recommend stopping in with your little ones to let them run off any extra energy.

Whatever the regional or corporate offices did to change this location worked. The entire store is revamped with new décor, games, signage and food selections. Additionally, the games and floors were clean. They’ve even updated themselves to use game cards instead of tokens. You hold the card against a device and it activates the game. Previously, I avoided this location at all cost. After my daughter begged me for some time to go back, we took the chance this evening. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised! The staff was very attentive and super nice. Particularly, the manager or floor lead named David. He was very nice and always replied wth«my pleasure!» The salad bar is back. It doesn’t appear to be as elaborate, but it works. I no longer dread this place after tonight. It was a wonderful experience! If you can deal with stinky kids running by you that smell like corn chips and farts, you’ll do just fine!

Not impressed at all with this place. Everyone seems kinda either fake happy and or pissed that they are working here. The games really aren’t that great either.

Hate it. The worst environment for kids. It’s nasty my friend use to work here and she said they never cleaned and also told me some awful stories about this place.

We took our 3 kids, and met my mother and sister for an early morning July 4 meal. There were never more than 20 people there the whole time. I know the format of the place has changed, but it was disappointing to see that the stage was just Chuck and some large TV’s. And the music was very modern, which is okay for older kids, but it is designed for little kids as well, so that was off putting. The salad bar was nice, but there were fly’s on a few of the containers, which made me queasy. I forgot to mention the young lady at the entrance that checks everyone for safety was on her smartphone the entire time. She was nice, but I don’t think that is effective. She also let us go without checking our stamps. The area near the drinks stunk — badly. And there was a large machine there — similar to one that is used to air out carpet after a flood. We had not been there even an hour, and both of the drink machines were OUTOFICE, so when we could find someone they would go to the back and fill our cups individually. Chuck came out once, more like just a walk around, not interactive as one would expect. Impossible to get on the bumper cars until about 12PM, no one would open it up. We had to wait a very long time for someone to help us with the prize counter, there were employees there but everyone was not in view. The Pizza is okay, but many of the games did not work. Our favorite, the one that is a race spraying water at a target being one. A good thing is that it is cheap and everything is 1 token. It was also very muggy — strange.

The one star only because my daughter likes their games. Staff is horrible. One lady was eating the salad toppings as she was stocking it. Ew! She came to us at the cashier with food on her lips after having waited 5 minutes to buy our tokens. She had a horrible attitude. The rest of the staff just congregate at a table eating and being loud. It’s hard to get service. And when you do they are super rude and act like you’re bothering them. Wish they would hire more competent people. Food sucks. They changed everything. They don’t offer breadsticks anymore instead they sell cheesesticks which aren’t the same. Pizza is different. Just overall different. Avoid it

They’ve just added bumper cars as one of their rides. The pizza is good as long as you eat it while it’s still warm. Once it cools, it isn’t very tasty any more. Chuck E made his last debut for the evening around 8:15 pm. I noticed that Chuck E had lost a significant amount of weight! He was quite scrawny compared to the chunky mouse he used to be(back in my days)! Irregardless, my kids all gathered to greet him and were all excited when he made his appearance. Although I was the only customer eating salad and it was twenty minutes shy of closing, Lauren completely restocked the salad bar! Brownie points for such thoughtfulness! This place is kind of pricy. For two adults and one child, we spent $ 56, BUT we got 140 tokens. :) My 4 y.o. loves this place!

Well, what can you say it’s Chuck-E-Cheese, not fine dining, so I’ll review it for what it is. And for what it is supposed to be, it’s pretty good. The staff here is nice and attentive and after having two birthday parties for my son there, I’ve come to appreciate the way they organize it. They take care of the mess, they serve the food, they cut your cake and make sure your kid has fun. The pizza we’ve had here is decent for a place like this, but of course can’t compete with the really good pizza places in DFW like Cavalli or Cane Rosso. The games and rides are mostly in working order and for $.25 a game not overpriced. They also keep it surprisingly clean, which in a place with tons of kids isn’t an easy task. The prices are ok, $ 13 for a large one topping pizza and $ 10 for 40 coins — every game costs one coin, for a birthday party with about 10 kids and their parents you’ll spend almost $ 200. Compared to other places I checked out, that’s as cheap as you’ll get. So, if you need a place to celebrate your(young) kids’ birthday party or just want some fun time for them, this is a good place to go to.

I was actually more impressed with this place than I thought I would be considering the reviews I’ve read. I probably wouldn’t have taken my daughter here except she received a birthday invite from a classmate. The staff was friendly, the pizza was ok, the cupcakes were very yummy and they had a wide assortment of games for the kids to play. And of course trading tickets in for small toys was a fun aspect for my 4 year old. The staff was very helpful and friendly for the birthday party, making the birthday boy feel special with a crown full of tokens and a special birthday medal, they got everyone to sing happy birthday and then lit the candles and served cupcakes. They also made sure we didn’t leave without our souvenir cup and goody bag. I’d go back and maybe host a playdate here. We had lots of fun!

Upon walking in we were very impressed… Clean, big and greeted at the door by a friendly young lady. We went to the counter to order and the young lady was very friendly and helpful. The salad bar was fresh, full and had many choices. Pizza arrived and looked good although the girl that delivered it said, «this was my first pizza to make so if it sucks I’m sorry.» The boys and girls bathrooms were worse than 7 – 11 bathrooms. I wrote in and complained but never heard back from them.

Chuck E. Cheese Made My Birthday Girl Cry My family of 5 visited this Plano Chuck E. Cheese for my daughter’s 8th birthday because she really wanted to do the Ticket Blaster. Not knowing the Chuck E. Cheese regulations we just showed up, bought two large pizzas and some $ 50 in tokens. After making the purchase I asked the manager of the store if my daughter could do the Ticket Blaster, he said, «No, you have to schedule a birthday party.» I responded, «Ok, let’s schedule a birthday party… for right now.» The manager said, «We cannot do that, it has to be 24-hours in advance.» I tried to explain to him that I’d pay now for a birthday party of their minimum number, no need for cake, I already got the pizzas and the store isn’t busy(in fact it was dead). The manager’s response was, «We cannot do that, it has to be 24-hours in advance.» Again I tried to explain that I don’t need a dancing mouse, cake, party hats or anything else — I just need to let my birthday girl in your Ticket Blaster for :30 seconds. After all, they’re just tickets and what’s the cost of tickets? It’s as big of a racket as popcorn at the movie theater. Again he responded, «We cannot do that, it has to be 24-hours in advance.» His final response and lack of compassion made my daughter cry. I told him, «8-year olds don’t understand red-tape.» He didn’t care and merely shrugged his shoulders. I thought perhaps the manger was just inept, but it turns out the entire company is inept. I spoke to Brittany in customer service and she spoke the same words as the store manger, «We cannot do that, it has to be 24-hours in advance.» They did nothing to try to resolve this issue. I have three kids and I will never go to another Chuck E. Cheese again. I will encourage all other friends and family to visit other places like Amazing Jakes for parties and functions. All they had to do was plug the machine in and let the tickets fly.

I didn’t realize there is a Chuck E Cheese in Plano location until yesterday. When I arrived, the parking lot was not totally packed. There were plenty of spaces because it was New Years Eve. I guess plenty of people decided to go to Main Event for their New Years Eve bowl till the ball drops special. Anyway, so I walked in with my hubby and two kids. A young kid greeted us right away. He stamped our arms and had a small chat with us. He was welcoming and friendly. We ordered a big pepperoni pizza, the pizza was served hot and it was unexpectedly good. The soda was all you can refill so I drank plenty of that. The only bad thing about the soda is there was no coke. They only carry Pepsi product. Anyway, I guess I can live with it as long as my kids was having fun. There were decent number of games that my 8 and 10 yr o could play with. I loved the football and the fishing games. All the machines were in good working condition and I saw a young kid dusting the top of the machines with a duster. The manager(I didn’t get his name). He was nice and personable. He smiled and made small talks with us. He saw him constantly walking around to make sure all the tables were bussed. The young guy who greeted us at the front door, was very nice to our kids. He was patient and he waited for a long time for our kids to redeem their prizes(you know how indecisive kids can get when they are looking at limited amount of prizes) I will definitely bring my kids back again to this Chuck E. location. I love the friendliness of the staff there and I love the hot delicious pizza as well.

My son is 8 and I was surprised when he asked to go to CEC. I decided to visit this location as opposed to our usual and was very impressed. I haven’t been to a CEC in years and this one was a good size, clean, and the staff was very attentive. The tables were cleared and cleaned promptly. The pizza came out quick(not my taste but the kid loved it) The salad bar was fresh & stocked(with the exception of croutons) :(They do serve beer at this location… for those that like to drink beer at a kids place :-\ The restrooms weren’t spotless but they weren’t trashed either. This one is well maintained, and for a Friday night it was not too crowded. We would definitely go back to this location the next time.

As far as Chuck E. Cheese’s go this on is pretty good. The pizza isn’t great but it’s edible, and most importantly the kids like it. For the most part the crowd here has been fairly well behaved. It’s clean enough considering what goes on there. Most of the staff seem like they are 13 or have had a lobotomy. The birthday party thing is a huge ripoff. Don’t do it. No way I would eat the salad bar. Sneeze guards can’t stop these crazy rugrats. God knows what makes it in there.

Pizza is overrated and restrooms were dirty. There were kids everywhere. This place was a madhouse. I’m pretty sure the wolfman jack looking kid works here for the employee discount. But my niece seemed to like it plenty. Happy birthday Bella!
