Ordered lunch for about 5 people & went and picked it up. The burgers are amazing and nothing was soggy! The ranch… wow, I could drink it. Great customer service — one guy helped me carry everything to my car. I will definitely eat there again.

My granny use to take us to the country burger on Hampton in oak cliff so when I saw one it brought back memories of time spent with her. It has an old fashioned feeling and the prices are pretty great too. It wasn’t the most amazing burger but for the price and the fact that they get your food out pretty quickly it’s definitely worth it. Don’t get me wrong the burger isn’t bad at all, it is big, tasty and has everything you want on a burger, my heart just belongs to another joint. When I’m on this side of town I’ll stop back in and try something else on their menu since I’ve only ever had the burgers.

The toughest decision for me is «do I want to be(semi) good and get the fabulous crispy chicken salad, or do I want to be bad and get the double double combo». Either way, I get a delicious meal. The only difference is how much I have to work out the next day. Love love love this place — have been to three of their locations and always got a great meal.

Got a Jr. pulled pork sandwich and onion rings for just under $ 8. Jr is really«regular» size to me, since their regular pulled pork sandwich is huge. Perfect amount of sauce on sandwich didn’t even need any extra to add. Do wish though I asked for ranch or something to dip the onion rings in.

We were craving a burger and decided to give this place a whirl. The only reason I can think anyone gives this five stars is because maybe it’s nostalgic or something because the food definitely isn’t anything worthwhile. I got a hickory burger and the BBQ sauce was disgusting. Thank god they skimp on it; it was tomato based and just god awful. The burger came with that and pickles; no lettuce, no tomato, no onion. Wtf? Really? Manchild got a chili cheeseburger that was pretty much just a sloppy joe. Thin patties, not meaty burgers or anything substantial. We got cheese fries and they were enormous, easily shareable among a group of three or four. For the prices, I’d go to Whataburger instead simply because they give you a fresh tasting burger. This place was a joke. Other than cheese fries, this place deserves zero stars.

When I have a jones for a burger, this is where I like to go. It’s a little pricey for a burger joint but, you get a great burger. The dinning area can accommodate a large group or if you are sitting alone. The menu is kinda big. However, just tell them what you are looking for, the people are willing to help you with your selection.

A Plano landmark since the 1970s. Two locations, here and over in east Plano. Straight forward big hamburgers with fries. Can’t be beat.

This place has been around forever but I’m just now getting here for my first time! First off, the prices are great! It’s between like $ 4-$ 6 to get a really good sized burger. The burgers are nicely cooked and the bacon on mine was thick crispy. The cheese fries were big enough for two people and well covered. The inside is cute and old country styled. I’ll definitely be back!

Oh, look at that. Coke products! Here’s that fifth star(even though you added tv running sports, too).

The burgers are great! Prices are really reasonable. The onion rings are light and crispy. The fried pickles… not so much. Very dry, no crunch and to oily. For the price and the flavor, the burgers are worth the trip.

This is the perspective of someone who has worked in the hospitality industry — restaurant, bar, and catering. Taste was good but there were some issues: 1) «Specialty Burger» — Hickory Cheeseburger(with Homemade Hickory sauce & pickles) which I thought would also come with some lettuce/tomato/onion but was just this teaspoon of sauce and some pickles slapped on. Juicy but thin patties much like Whataburger. 2) Sweet Potato fries and Onion Rings were good and crispy. However no ketchup packets or even a 2oz to-go cup of it. 3) My kids gatorade must have been the end of the machine because it was just light blue and water. We thought they forgot her tenders but it was just because they were so tiny it was buried in with her fries in the little paper sack. Good taste not too greasy. It was fine but again I thought they’d run it ‘through the garden’ with a burger set or put a lil more sauce on it or a 2oz to-go cup for a burger and of course the sides.

I had been craving a burger from a mom and pop place rather than a franchise. I had the country burger, thinking it would be charbroiled but it was cooked on a griddle. For whatever reason, shoestring fries are the thing out here. The fries were ok. The burger was decent, nothing spectacular about it. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich which she thought was really good. The chicken tenders were also good… kid approved.

The burger itself is excellent, not oily, doesnt break in your hand, very tasty. The fries very crunchy, I ordered sweet potato fries, and would order it again. The atmosphere is great, very spacious, not hard to find a seat.

First time I ever went there I ordered a triple meat burger and I was amazed with the size of the burger, it’s a Texas size burger and taste great, the place was a country style place and very nice dinning place the only thing they were missing is music was not playing I would suggest if they play some music will be nice and take care of table cleaning, and I will definitely go back if I want a burger

Some of the best burgers in north Texas. This isn’t a place for someone wanting a dry, tasteless burger. These things come packing a greasy, cheesy, buttery, savory taste like no other, sure to please a true burger connoisseur.

It tastes exactly how you imagine it should, being a «country burger». As delicious as it is unhealthy, and I’m not even mad about it. Gooey, ooey, yummy, melty, cheesy, meaty, veggy, good. It’s a messy burger. Add chili if you want to make it messier. I really really really enjoyed mine. It’s a comfort food thing, here. And the cheesy fries with ranch? Forget about it. You’ll have to have a partner to share those with it’s a massive helping, but whoa are they good!
