David McDavid’s Plano Lincoln

The body shop has had my vehicle for more than 70 days and is failing in customer service and workmanship. I look forward to updating my review with a complete account when our business is concluded.
Here is how you can file a Consumer Complaint with the Attorney General’s Office:

I just picked up a new Lincoln MKZ hybrid and worked with Ed Nogar, with whom I’ve done business since 2005. I love ED. He’s honest, straight forward, no games and makes it a relatively painless experience.
I went elsewhere to buy a car for my daughter, and I was so shocked at the BS games they played. Interesting that many dealers assume a woman doesn’t know a thing about cars or pricing or ANYTHING, so they treat her like she’s a complete moron.
David Mc David has always been a class act and I’ve never regretted any purchase I’ve made from them.
You will not be disappointed in the treatment you get here.

Here is my update, My Ford Taurus although in great shape was starting to need more TLC than I can afford (It had 130K). I decided to purchase another car; the one thing I knew for sure was that I needed it serviced at David McDavid. Best experience I ever had. Oh and by the way, I did buy a new car from Susan in the pre owned sales. Purchased a 2013 Lincoln MKS which I believe I received a great deal, but best of all, I keep going back to David McDavid for service. Thanks guys…

They were friendly & helped us out & provided a loan car when ours wasn’t going to be ready even though we have an older car. My wife has back trouble, that’s why we purchased our Towncar. I told the service Represenative she couldn’t drive a small car so he got us a yuge Lincoln Navigator, and I mean yuge! Richard has always been helpful, we have been having our car serviced with them since we purchased it in 2004.

So after weeks of planning, it was finally time to buy another car.
Funny story. So when we first pulled up, we pulled up to the used car section. A woman comes out to our car before we even had a chance to get out. She stands there and looks at us like she has something to say. For a minute, I thought I parked in the wrong space or something. I wasn’t sure if she worked there since she had on sweat pants and pink tennis shoes, but YEP, she worked there. I rolled the window down a little and she asked who I had an appointment with. I told her we were working with someone and she walked off.
My wife and I got out of the car and peeked in the window of a couple cars; we turned around and she was there again. She said «I can help you. I checked and nobody here is waiting for you.» This was too pushy, we said no thank you and walked inside the building.
We were greeted by a well dressed receptionist who called up the sales person we worked with on the phone. This young mans name was Joshua Fellows. When I first saw him, my first impression was «wow, this guys dresses sharp». Joshua was very articulate and well versed in Lincoln even though he was self proclaimed to be pretty new to Lincoln. From start to finish, Joshua was a pleasure to deal with. There was no hard sell and he was very willing to answer any questions we had. Our experience when we first arrived had us ready to leave; Joshua Fellows made things better with his professional attitude and great personality.
Buying a car is a pain in the butt!!! Joshua Fellows and Lincoln David McDavid’s in Plano make our experience excellent. His follow up was awesome as well.

My overall experience from day one was so stress free very professional individuals from the salesman to the finance and recently the service department. David McDavid Lincoln goes out of their way to ensure that you have an enjoyable experience, Thanks

This dealership seemed great at first. They worked hard and got me in the door. They gave me exactly what i wanted on my trade in without me having to tell them my number. I also traded in an ATV as a down payment. There is where we got into the problem. I told them exactly what they should be able to get. They decided to do the finance ppw with WELL over that amount. I told the finance guy that was wrong and he went and talked to someone and they said no go with it… that’s where the story goes from this is a great dealership to i WILL NEVER buy from this place again and anyone that ask i tell them to go somewhere else. A week later after they had sold the ATV the fiancé guy calls me and wants me to either put more money down on the car or let me payments go up. I said absolutely not and after the third phone call begging me to do this so they could recoop the money they screwed themselves out of i told him either stop calling me or get my ATV ready, my trade in, and my down payment ready because i will be coming to pick them up and you can have this car back this afternoon. I never heard anything from them until about 4 or 5 days later. I had to come in and resign papers but everything was supposed to be fine. I get there and go back and he wants me to go up on my payments by 25.00. At this point i could have easily financially done it but why would i? This was the dealerships fault not mine! So, i said absolutely not and once again the car is here so give me my trade in and down payment and i will leave here. I left without paying the extra 25.00 instead it was roughly .75 cents extra. Then not even 3 days later i find out that my trade in vehicle was driven with my plates still on it and the tolld were charged to my toll account. I told the sales man the night i bought the new car. Please take my toll tag off my trade in while i am here. He said oh its late were the last ones here i will do it first thing in the morning. That never happened. Then when i called and was angry he told me he checked with the service guys and the car had never left the lot. Yet i had dates and time stamps of when that vehicle went through 6 tolls that were charged to ME! Then almost a month later i get 3.00 in the mail and a note from the sales man saying he paid it back out of his own pocket not to mention sob stories begging me to give him and the fiancé guy a good rating on there survey because he has a family to feed etc… REALLY? After, ALL you put me through and never offered me a thing for compensation for the time of mine you wasted and the crap you put me through you want a glowing 5 star report? This was by far the WORST buying experience i have ever had. I will NEVER return to this dealership not even to get my license plates.

I have worked in the car industry for over 4 years and have been the Executive Assistant to the owner, as well as Customer Relations Director. I know customer relations… or I thought I did. Tremaine and Magan at David McDavid Lincoln surpassed every idea I have ever had. Thank you very much for getting me into the most BEAUTIFUL MKC and treating me like a million dollars.
Also, Thank you to the GM who spent his Friday evening with myself, my dogs and my friend while I was signing my paperwork chatting about the cowboys and the upcoming Lincolns. I am a customer for life.

I am still having issues with my vehicle from when David McDavid Plano Lincoln had it for over six months. Because they did not position the hood properly, the paint has rubbed off in several areas from opening the hood for my most recent oil change. There are several other issues, as well. Even though several of their «repairs» on my vehicle are faulty, I am certainly hesitant to take the vehicle back to them as I might be without for another 6 months or so.

I had a very positive, pain-​free experience when I purchased my MKC several months ago. Israel, my sales rep, was great!
I recently took my car in for a maintenance service call, and it was a positive experience as well. My car went in at the exact time of my appointment, and I was told it would be an hour to an hour fifteen minutes. At an hour fifteen minutes it was coming out of the car wash ready to go.
This is professional, well-​run dealership. And I LOVE my Lincoln!

Sales isn’t rocket science, it’s all about removing barriers and listening (anyone can hear a customer, only a few really listen) to my consirns and providing solutions instead of barriers. You have won my business today, but more importantly, first and last look at my next automobile purchase. You are humble in your approach which is very compelling. I highly recommend you to those looking for that «Luxurious Buying Experience».

This was one of the more professional groups I have purchased a vehicle from. Bradley the salesman was polite and professional. The finance guy, for a finance guy, was spot on and not pushy. I asked, they answered, they performed what they said, no problems.
If your like me, you go in to buy a car very guarded, but I drove away in a new car feeling rather surprised that there were no attempts to change the deal or bump me in some way at closing. Nice!

I appreciated not being hassled into buying a car on my first visit. I went in to test drive a MKZ and told John upfront I wasn’t going to buy that evening. He honored what I said and explained the features of the car but never tried to talk me into purchasing a car that evening. He was very attentive to us when we were ready and made us feel like we were number 1 that day.

Great buying experience! They had a preowned Chevy Volt for sale that was a little out of my price range. I told them what I could afford and they found a way to make it work! No games, just good service. Ask for David Anzualda.

Seriously no over statement, the entire experience that I’ve had in buying a car and getting service. Excellent experience from the first call. I ask for their best price and they beat the X plan pricing from a relative. The reason for adding a new review is the service I just received over the weekend. I was near the store and needed an oil change, wiper blades and to get the car clean. They treated me like I had an appointment and like I was important. The facility is top notch, very nice refreshments and comfortable. The service is the key and the people make that happen. Great job!!!

Richard Ancheta always gives us timely and complete information about what is needed on our vehicles. Work is completed well and insurance and/​or warranty companies are contacted for us if needed. We have our Lincoln MKZ hybrid and Ford Explorer routinely serviced. I like dealing with one person through process of check-​in, service and payment.

Whatsh out from parts department they do charge 20% restocking fee even when they sell you wrong parts!
