Dawn Clark Colour

I’ve been a client for a little over 4 years now, and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. I started off with Callie. She took me from long hair to short on my first visit. When I mentioned I was thinking of going blonde again (I was red at the time) she recommended I see Dawn. This was the start of a beautiful friendship.
Callie has always been super attentive when going over new styles and how they look. When I decided to shave my hair off for charity this year in April, she was the one to do it. As it grows out she continuously double checks on how my hair is progressing in stages so we end up with the right style.
Dawn is amazing when it comes to color. I am not the easiest to please when it comes to dying my hair. I love the bold, bright, non traditional colors. And I give Dawn free reign over what she puts in my hair. She calls me her artist. I call her a wizard with color. Without fail, when I am getting my hair done by Dawn, other clients have made comments on how amazing it looks. (And how they wish they were that brave!)
If you decide to pay Dawn and Callie a visit you must understand that they book really far in advance with just about everyone that is «regular» so it may occasionally be difficult to get same day appointments. They have an online booking process that is amazing if you don’t want to call and have them make it. These ladies are amazing and do try to make accommodations when ever possible.

Best hair color ever! Dawn was the first hair stylist who got my hair as light as I wanted without any orange tone. It looks awesome… So happy!!!

I moved to the Plano area recently and was so nervous about finding someone to dye my hair. I have really high standards and it’s always a risk trying a new place. Well thank goodness I found Dawn! She really listened to me and everything I wanted. She was courteous and friendly, it was like I’ve known her for years. The appointment was lovely and my hair turned out AMAZING! It’s the perfect shade of deep red. I’ll definitely be back.

This is by far the best experience I’ve ever had getting my hair done. Dawn was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. I came in with hair color that was patchy and uneven, she wasn’t the least bit condescending about it and made every effort to make sure she approached the problem in the best way possible. She definitely knows what she is doing and takes her time to do things right.
The result is amazing! My hair went from a streaky salmon to an even purple, can’t wait to see how pretty this fades. :)

Dawn is amazing! No one has ever been able to get my hair to such a beautiful blonde. She knew I was engaged, asked what the date was, and booked my all my appointments back from then so it will look fresh for the big day. I didn’t even have to ask. Best colorist I’ve had:)

AMAZING color! I have been in DFW for about 8 years and have always been just satisfied with my hair color. It was good but not great. So I decided it was time for a change and looked up Dawn on Unilocal and now I LOVE my hair color! I have a mixture of blondes and caramels and she mixes colors beautifully. My mother told me it actually looks more natural. I love that I walked into Dawn and said I want Jennifer Anniston’s hair color and I feel like she achieved it! Seriously love my hair. Also, on a personal note, Dawn is very sweet and a joy to talk to.

Dawn is absolutely amazing! She is a brilliant colorist and she pays so much attention to detail. Dawn was so warm, welcoming and not to mention patient. You will not regret putting your time and faith in her. She is completely worth it! Callie is such a sweet heart as well. Her cuts and styling are fabulous. And as an added bonus these beautiful ladies have incredible personalities. I can’t thank them enough for all their marvelous treatment of me and my hair. Two thumbs up!

I’ve been going to Dawn for 15 years now! I will always drive an hour JUST for HER to color my hair! She is AMAZINGLY talented!!! You will love her as much as I do! The new salon is awesome! :)

Amazing place! I went here today for the first time. I live out of town and really needed highlights and a root touch up. I have blonde hair and wanted it a bit blonder; Dawn did a great job. My hair looks fabulous. She was so nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this place.

I originally started with Dawn at Toni and Guy and there was no doubt I would follow her when she opened her own shop just up Preston Road. She is the BEST colorist I have ever been to, period. She listens to what the customer wants, and then balances it against what looks best! I have never had so many compliments on my hair. I live in Uptown and it is well worth the 20 minute trip to Plano for perfection in hair color…

My hair has never looked better! I had 4 or 5 different shades of blonde and needed a lot of help. She explained to me what the best shade would look good with my skin tone and got to work. I was blown away with the results. I have never loved my blonde color more. I went in thinking of dying my hair dark, but she told me that she could fix my hair and make the blonde look natural and boy, did she do just that. Hands down, the best hair colorist I have ever been to! I will never let anyone else touch my hair. On top of the amazing color, her prices are extremely fair. Dawn is the best!
