We split the spinach and fruit berry salad. With light vinaigrette almonds and goat cheese! The very freshest you’ll be amazed ! Then we split the beer batter cod, plenty of food. Server met every request. Try it. You’ll like it.

Our server, Scott, was great. He had some really good suggestions and really took his time explaining the beer choices to my boyfriend. He seemed really knowledgable and interested in what my boyfriend likes in a beer so he could make an appropriate recommmendation. The food was pretty good too. I got the fish and chips with the apple cider slaw. The slaw was SO good! My boyfriend got the grilled cheese and mushroom spaetzle. He said his was ok. The only bad thing was the hostess. When we walked in we just stood there waiting on her to look up from her sketch pad. After waiting for a few minutes I asked if it was self seating or if we needed to be seated. She looked up and said«oh», took us to a table, sat the menus down, and walked away… So. Yeah thanks, we will enjoy our meal… Hmmm. That wasn’t a good first sign but Scott more than made up for it.

I really like this place. The atmosphere is fancy, but casual. They have a lot of seating on their patio when the weather is nice, and they also have late night Happy Hour from 9 – 11 every night! Yes, specialty drinks are $ 5. GB is a great place to go with a group or a date because they have a little bit of everything on their menu. I really like the seafood cobb salad. It has shrimp and crab on it and goes great with the lemon vinaigrette dressing. Also, the garlic fries are really good! I took off a star for the bathroom. It literally looks like no one tends to it. The funny thing is that the other location has the same issue. This is gross. Management needs to get this issue straightened out.

I’ve been going to GB on and off since they opened. It’s been slowly declining over the years. Tonight was the worst meal to date here. We had the«blue crab» artichoke dip and it was terrible. Soggy and hardly any«crab» meat and the artichoke must come from a can. My daughter and I split the cheeseburger and I can safely say it was average at best. The much touted garlic fries tasted oily and stale. My wife had the bratwurst sandwich & said it was good. The service was terrible. It appeared they had forgotten about us at first; I got up to get a servers attention & she came over to take our drink orders. She notified us that our server would be around shortly. Several minutes passed before he actually showed up. Then, it took quite a while for our food to come out. Someone else delivered it to the table. Our waiter checked on us as we were finishing the meal. BTW, this was not a busy night for them.

YAY! One of my new favorite places to go to for happy hour!!! I came here with friend to catch up and this place was PERFECT! Also, the restaurant had a very laid-back vibe which is another plus in my books! We were able to enjoy food and drinks for SUCH a great price. Our waitress was very helpful and made the best recommendations. We ordered the margarita flat bread, beer-infused mussels, fish tacos, and garlic fries. I ABSOLUTELYLOVEDITALL! My most favorite would have to be the beer-infused mussels and their«world’s famous garlic fries.» I’m pretty picky when it comes to mussels and will only eat it from Meddlesome Moth. Then I discovered Gordon B! The garlic fries were AMAZING and I honestly cant name another place that would even compare(that’s how good it is lol). I feel like the fish tacos were very forgettable and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. As for the margarita flat bread, I wouldn’t be upset if they took it off the menu. Overall: I strongly recommend everyone to come and try their happy hour from 4pm-7pm on Mondays through Saturdays. Two thumbs up!

We have lunch here a couple of times mainly to try something different in the Shops at Legacy. Probably best to go off-days/hours when not crowded.

Everything was really good here. The lighting, the service, the food, the beer. I have no complaints. I came in as a treat for Father’s day. Enjoyed the Scottish Ale, great Coffee notes. As an appetizer, got the Calamari. It was good… What really enhanced my experience was the Lobster and Shrimp Mac & Cheese. You will not be disappointed. Good«fat» pieces of fresh Lobster and not skimpy with the shrimp. The crostini was the best I’ve ever had… I know it shouldn’t be a big deal but it stretched across the plate and was much needed for the meal. This was a very good dining experience for me. I will return.

We came here for a fun dinner and thought this was a decent place to grab dinner. Pros: + A lot of choices on the menu + Great Service + Decent beer selection — I really liked the Stout + Southwest Egg Rolls were pretty great! Cons: — Vegetarian Pizza — oh my gosh, get the mediterranean pizza instead!!! — Desserts — a okay, but not super special. We ordered the Chocolate Budino Cake and it seemed a little bland in my opinion.

Well, I have been here so many times and usually have a great experience. This time, however, was absolutely horrible. We started out with wings which we requested crispy. When they arrived they were not only soft but didn’t have enough sauce on it. Yucky! They then brought out our dinner which we opted for a veggie and turkey burger with fries. Honestly, the burgers were just okay, I mean who could mess up burgers? And the sweet potato fries were under cooked and tasteless. Service was pretty good, but we at least thought the manager would visit our table to apologize about the terrible wings that we couldn’t finish and returned. I don’t know what has happened to the chefs but it seems like they were new or inexperienced. The food has never been this bad to us. We paid for our food and darted out the door as fast as we could. We will NOT be returning to this restaurant anytime soon and that’s for sure!!!

Intro– this place is more for beer, not exactly for food. Keep that in mind. Service– let’s just say it was less than decent. One of my table members felt extremely ignored from the wait staff, and my personal time there was, again, less than decent. Food– i got the glazed salmon dish and it was alright. The portion was pretty nice but the salad on the plate was mediocre, the salmon was okay, and the glaze was probably what saved the mediocre flavors. As unbiased as I’ll put it, I’ll say that the sauce’s flavors weren’t to my personal taste, but I can see that the consistency was nice, the alcohol content made the flavors distinct, and it wasn’t overly salty. The appetizers like the calamari were actually pretty tasteful though. Oh and I also tried the filet mignon and the other salmon plate from my folks during our lunch. Nothing too grandiose. And for the margarita pizza, that was probably my favorite thing there. Even then it wasn’t as spectacular as the other pizzerias I’ve been too. For the price I was hoping it would. Conclusion– the service the time we went was not really great, the food was around mediocre, and the price?! I’d like to say I’m a foodie so I’ll pay out the wazoo for some good food from time to time… This place is definitely not on that list for me. As for the alcohol, to you drinkers out there, this is for you. Not the food though. The environment looks cool, I’ll have to say.

I used to love this place, but it has significantly gone downhill since the last time we visited. The first bummer was finding out that our favorite menu items(the pesto sandwich and crab burger) are no longer available. They do still have their garlic fries thankfully, which were just as delicious as I remembered. Being late and feeling indulgent, I opted for their artisan grilled cheese in place of my beloved pesto sandwich. The menu said it came with Gruyère, bacon, and avocado mayo on sourdough with a side of garlic fries. The mayo was way too much. It made the sandwich gloopy and more heavy than necessary. Plain avocado slices would have been much better. I also found out that unless you specifically ask for the garlic fries, they will bring you plain ones that are boring and under seasoned. My husband was still craving a burger so he got the farmhouse one which comes with an egg on top. His plate looked a lot more appetizing than mine did but he said it was just alright. He was lucky enough to get the garlic fries however, so I stole some since I wasn’t into my plate enough to finish it. They get three stars because our server Christian was awesome and because they make one of my favorite beers on the planet. I’m not typically a beer drinker, but when the mood strikes they have a hefeweizen with hints of banana and clove that rules. If you are hesitant to commit to a full glass, you can ask to try a sample of it beforehand. Another item I’ve had here and liked before was the Margherita pizza. I almost ordered it last night and ended up wishing I had. Perhaps they are under new management? Either way, I think it will be a while before we give them another try.

Big outside patio. Place is good for lunch. The apps are small and a bit pricey. The sliders are good now great. The chicken pecan crusted Def a favorite. The fish taco app omg a sliver of a piece if fish hence 3 stars… I would go back for cocktails not a cheap lunch place…

Last weekend I decided to make a trip to IKEA. I skipped trying out their café to take advantage of being in a part of the metroplex I rarely ever visit. Naturally, I jumped on Unilocal to see what was around. While scrolling through the list, one particular buzz word stood out the me. The word«brewery» piqued my interest. Since I am a huge fan of DFW breweries, I had reservations about trying a brewery I had never heard of before. If there was anything decent about it, surely I would have come across it in one of the many blogs I follow. But you don’t get«Elite Unilocal» status with that kind of thinking. Or maybe it was the 5K through endless aisles of furniture I had just finished. Either way, I was going to have a beer! Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant is in a nice, and from the looks, newer shopping center. It has a patio facing the street, a bar area with TV screens, and dining area where you can see the brewery tanks. If that sounds familiar, you have probably been to other places like it. Humperdinks comes to mind. I found out later that this is also a chain restaurant with locations across the country. They serve one of each of the most popular styles of beer. You can get a Lager, IPA, Amber, etc. They seem to take pride in their Marzen though. It’s used to make a barbecue sauce. In my opinion, their beers are mediocre. It’s understandable that a chain restaurant with a limited stock of beers would want to cater to the most common denominator. That means you’re not going to get anything inventive, edgy, or strong. That also means that their beer will be easy to drink and well balanced. And there is nothing wrong with that. The food was along the same lines as their beer. It’s nothing to rave over but it is delicious and filling. The burgers have a good sized patty and are made to order. It’s always nice to be asked how you want your burger cooked. The fries come in a few different varieties. I recommend the garlic fries, they were probably the best part of my meal. Overall, I think they do everything well enough but nothing extraordinary.

This is all based on the atmosphere. I did not eat here. I met some friends here before we went to dinner at Taco Diner. We sat on the patio which is very large. It was a chilly night so they had heaters on for the patrons so we would not be too cold. I had a nice Malbec and I was very pleased with the wine selection. It is a nice meeting spot because it was not too loud and you could have a conversation.

Been here a few times with workmates for happy hour and with my wife on a dinner date. Great location and view from the patio. Wait staff is friendly and really good at recommending food and drinks. Good beer selection. I’m not a big beer fan but I liked the smooth MÄRZEN beer that the waiter recommended. Also try the cajun pasta, you’ll be amazed. My wife and I loved it. Parking may be a problem during happy hour and weekends when everyone is out shopping and eating at the shops at legacy. You can valet or fight for a parking spot in the garage. Overall, my experience here has been good.

Lobster Mac and Cheese! Thats all you need to know! We split the calamari among a group of friends, it was not good… The outside tasted soggy and there was no seasoning at all… I also got a slider and the bun was not good. the patty was cooked just as I asked, medium rare, but the bun was a brick. I just ate everything and left the bun. Honestly, just stick to the lobster mac and cheese. It saved this place.

Like almost every other restaurant on this street at the Shops, this place is only good for drinks. My steak was ok, but it didn’t come with seasonal vegetables. Well, I guess potatoes are a vegetable, but I don’t want a side of potatoes as my veggies! Plus, they were bland and terrible. I’m pretty sure I was missing a side. Service was ok. It was a little awkward to sit right by the point-of-sales system because we could hear servers’ conversations while they gathered there, and I’m sure they could hear everything we said as well.
